Its interesting it was not Biden’s lawyers who reported the classified materials at his place (as the media tries to claim) but the Director of the National Archives who reported these lawyers tried to slip the purloined documents back into storage at the National Archives.

This must mean these documents cannot just be shredded, they are controlled copies with some official record they exist.

Enough of the word games. Copies of documents marked as classified are not necessarily classified. The issue can't be reported on intelligently unless distinctions like this are made.

Trump declassified the documents in his possession right before he left office. Since he was the President at the time, guess what? When he says they are declassified then POOF! They are no longer classified.

The documents still had a label that said "classified" because the POOF does not extend to the labels. The labels just became incorrect.

When one leaves a job one has lots of copies of paperwork concerning the job. Nobody gives them all back, that is silly. If one is President a lot of those documents will have a classified sticker on them, even if what is in them is not really classified. They just slap that label on liberally.

The F.B.I. raid on Trump was not about protecting classified documents but was obviously a targeted outrageous abuse of power.

Now the media is trying to pretend like its not common place for former administrations to have documents including some marked as classified.

We live in stupid-world where the talking heads on TV are stupid and want you to be stupid with them.
