The Tiger 2 tank looked pretty awesome too. But it broke down often, drank too much fuel (and leaked it too) and was vulnerable from behind.
Somehow, I get the weird idea that the whole intent of this so-called ‘war’ in Ukraine is just to destroy as much expensive hardware as possible so they will have to be replaced with newer, more expensive hardware............
Biggest problems with the German Tiger was weight and reliability.
We just watched Victor Davis Hanson’s Hillsdale College class on WWII. In it he spoke of the many shortcomings of tanks in WWII. While a competent tactical leader can make up for these difficulties, tanks have a great many limitations. Bottom line, they ain’t what people think.
It’s unlikely these complex vehicles with untrained crews will turn the tide.

Careful, some 3 letter semi secret groups from Russia, EU and the USA might have to take you out.
This is similar to Vietnam, where Russia, China, and how, we got rid of old weapons and created new ones for the new wars on the land, sea and in the air.
Hey, I have this great idea. We could form an alliance, let’s call it the Triple Entente, to counter Turkey. That will work out just dandy.
Not only crews, but maintenance and logistics tail, supporting heavy infantry trained and experienced to support combined arms with tanks, etc.
