MSNBC host Joe Scarborough said Tuesday “Morning Joe” that the discovery of classified documents at the home of former Vice President Mike Pence made it “clear” that former President Donald Trump’s actions were illegal.
Scarborough said, “You know, Pence actually only shines as brighter light on Trump. Biden actually only shines a brighter light on Trump illegalities.”
He continued, “What Mike Pence did and what Joe Biden did is what law-abiding citizens would do. They find classified documents. They immediately contact the authorities. They immediately secure them. And they immediately get them to the DOJ. Donald Trump, on the other hand, takes them, hides them, lies, and says they can’t have them. They’re in long-term negotiations. His lawyers lied to the DOJ, saying they’d given everything back, and then when the DOJ calls, the FBI calls, he sends staff, we got it on camera, and they start moving documents out of the space where they were hidden.

Scarborough is an Idiot. Trump says he declassified the documents in his possession before they were moved and while he was still President. Consequently, if that is so, there was no crime. There is no document paper trail required to prove that Presidents declassified documents. We just have to take their word for it. Consequently, no crime!

Scarborough is a complete idiot. Neither Pence nor Biden were president and do not fall under the Presidential records act. Trump falls under that act and abided by it and did nothing different from Bush, Obama and others. So, as usual, brainless Scarborough is trying to compare apples to oranges. In addition, Biden has classified documents from when he was senator which is totally illegal. You cannot trust anything liar Scarborough says, it will always be misinformation.
It seems that Scarraboro has gotten worse since he sided up with Meca! Did she infect him with a transmittable disease? I hope that they don’t try to have offspring! Think of what those lunatics would be like!
I cannot find an exception to the law for “cooperation” after the fact of getting caught with classified documents.

What also shines a brighter light on Trump is that the national archive and FBI knew he possessed those documents and their location. They also knew he added the security the FBI recommended.
Compare the light that shines on Biden. Documents were discovered before an election and were covered up until a second batch was discovered in December, and further delayed until Republicans took control of the House.
That is quite the contrast.
