California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) ripped Republicans after multiple mass shootings shook the state in the span of three days, saying they are standing in the way of gun safety measures.
“You just gotta call some folks out. I’m still waiting for Kevin McCarthy, the leader of the House of Representatives, who purports to represent the people of the state California,” Newsom said at a news conference on Tuesday after meeting victims’ families, referring to California Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R), who just took the gavel as Speaker for the new Congress.
“Not one expression of prayers, condolences, nothing. And it’s surprised nobody. Where’s he been on gun safety reform? Where’s the Republican Party been on gun safety reform? They blocked it every step of the way,” Newsom added.
“Shame on them,” the governor said of the GOP. “And shame on those that allow and perpetuate that to be rewarded politically… Only in America do we see this kind of carnage.

If he’s SO convinced about the docile and peace-loving nature of California citizens... tell him to give up HIS security, FIRST!
Don’t know about you but I practice very strict gun control..

California has some of the most restrictive guns laws in the nation, how about Newsom explain why those don’t work?
So gun control is now gun “safety”?
I recommend routine practice with one hand. Both left hand only and right hand only.
As does mine, my right index finger.
My gun is so safe, that when it runs out of ammo it transforms into a 39oz club all by itself. Is it time for common sense “club” control now too????

Many people here admire the fine craftsmanship that was used to make their guns.
However, it does not require fine craftsmanship to make a gun effective at short range.
Politicians should work on self-control, not gun control.
