which gun laws is Booker referencing? CA has some of the strictest laws in the nation including a mandatory 10-day waiting period and mandatory safety exam, but of course they did not prevent 2 elderly chinamen from legally purchasing firearms.

The only rule that has not been enacted in California is gun confiscation, no doubt that is what Booker wants...

what a poor excuse for a representative that doesn’t even know anything about US History or Political Science (or the USA Constitution!)

Twenty-five hundred gun laws around the nation and they think another one will work?

Cory Booker, and in fact most of the Democrat Socialists, have a very skewed interpretation of what constitutes “common sense”.

The sense that personal protection of all kinds is to be greatly restricted or surrendered altogether is common only to those of the command-and-control mindset, in which there is a Maximum Leader, with a band of loyalists acting as minions, and a vast number of the “under-people”, the peons and serfs that make up the most sullen and obeisant populace that may be imagined.

Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that he believed Republicans’ refusal to pass “common sense gun safety” was a “dereliction of duty.”

Someone should ask Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) if he thinks there are any other parts of the Constitution that should be blatantly ignored.

When all the “gun” laws on the books are fully enforced, then see if any new ones are needed. (All the redundant and overeaching ones can be eliminated as well).

Passing ANY gun control legislation is a violation of the oath to protect and defend the Constitution...especially that pesky “shall not be infringed...”
