The Soviet Union had poor wheat harvests from 1917 to 1992 because of International and Climate Events.

She speaks the truth: “...crimp in supply causes prices to go up.”
She is also brain dead, because supply can be met with domestic production which the Briben Brain Trust will not permit.

“It’s obviously based upon international and climate events, so, for example, Winter Storm Elliot pulled two million barrels off the U.S. market,” Granholm said during a White House press briefing. “That crimp in supply causes prices to go up.”FACT CHECK:
The "crimp" in supply is caused by the MORON in the White House who cancelled pipelines, drilling leases and made it impossible to transport anything without paying extortionist diesel fuel prices.

"She is also brain dead, "
That's how she got the job. Biden hires no one more competent than he is. Her only function is to make her boss look good, just as he continues to do.

Marxists stealing elections cause rising gas prices.

1/23/23 Right on cue!
“As many of you are tracking this week, House Republicans will vote to raise gas prices on American families. The contrast in priorities could not be more stark, but the president spent the last two years, as you know, doing everything he could to lower gas prices for American families. And prices are down about $1.60 a gallon since last summer. Now, House Republicans are using their narrow majority to force the American people to pay higher gas prices, just as big oil companies are amassing record profits,” Jean-Pierre began.

international and climate events Like the World Economic Forum? (You vill eat zee bugs!)
so, for example, Winter Storm Elliot pulled two million barrels off the U.S. market
When did winter storms starm getting named and how do we make it stop? Hurricanes are named because they are relatively localized and destructive weather systems. A location might get hit by the dangerous part once every couple decades. Snow is common, widespread and generally a nuisance rather than a killer requiring shelter. It's just snow and I could be hit by a storm a dozen times in a year.

I was always worried they would run out of names to impart on weather patterns that cause nothing worse than a gentle breeze, until I realized they could just make up names like “Trayvashena” or “Keondrecke”.
Heck, they probably already have a Name Generator”
