The survey found Trump taking a sizable lead among his potential challengers, as nearly half, 48 percent, of potential GOP voters choose Trump as their nominee. .
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) comes in a distant second, falling 17 points behind with 31 percent support.
Former Vice President Mike Pence places third with 8 percent support, and the rest of the potential challengers listed fall to three percent or less.
Anti-Trumper and former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), for instance, garnered just three percent support, followed by former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), both of whom saw two percent support.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) saw one percent support each, as did former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC).
Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) saw zero percent support, and one percent also chose “someone else”:

The survey represents little change over the past month, as 48 percent supported Trump on December 18. DeSantis, however has seen support decline from 33 percent in that time frame.

These are push polls. Meaningless.
How the heck does Benedict Pence have 8% support?
Another totally accurate and useful poll.
Great minds think alike, I was wondering the same thing.
“potential GOP voters” <== That’s how.
Donald Trump: 48% + Ron DeSantis: 31% = 79% What a Team
12 year chance to clean up America and save liberty
We’re going to be bored sick of these “polls” long before we even know who’s running . . .
Mini-MAGA is not running. So this poll is worthless.
Wait for it, wait for it, waaaaait for iiiiit!
A fake poll from an anti Trump group will drop any minute.
The NeverTrumps are scared because they know they can’t stop him and the anti-Americans are scared because they can’t stop him.
I’m looking forward to the 2024 Primary more than the election. ;)
It was great fun watching ‘Citizen Donald’ wipe the floor with 17 ‘professional politicians.’ :)
Meaning RINO’s, and Democrats who decide to engage in a little Operation Chaos.
I felt that Trump became the presumptive R nominee when he announced.
HOWEVER unless he can figure out how to win back the states he lost in 2020 but won in 2016, it’s just a waste of money.
People saying it’s no good, looks quite reasonable to me.
Trump in first, DeSantis next, and no one else getting any play. Pence gets a meaningless 8% from part of the liberal wing. Romney missing in inaction.
How many of those have even declared they were running?
Pointless.
Not lost, stolen
Yeah, it's going to suck watching Trump win the primary only to get trounced in the general election, taking the GOP House down with him and allowing the Dems to keep the Senate.
Because if he wins the primary, this is exactly what's going to happen.
Fortunately, we've got some time to wise up.
I would not celebrate this result if I were in charge of Trump’s team.
Trump is the R’s most recent president.
He is the only one seriously running at this point.
YET... More than half the party does not prefer him.
I love these types of Posts!
It draws out the malcontent, biased (and some dishonest) Trump Mini-Me DeSantis supporters like a bug-zapper!
If one is below chaney you might as well give up..
