President Joe Biden used a speech honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday to stoke racial division, accusing car insurance companies of being racist for charging different rates based on location.
“If you live in one of those neighborhoods and you have the same exact car I have in the other neighborhood, you pay more for your insurance than that side,” Biden said sternly. “No basis for it! None at all other than you’re black, and I’m white.”

Most minorities live in the inner city, where vandalism, and theft of cars is much more likely. That’s why they pay higher insurance rates, Joe.

Well. Prior to the 2008 housing crisis he did not understand how mortgages worked so I am not surprised.
He did not understand how credit cards worked either.... remember that those companies were his biggest donors for many years.

So, car jackings, being involved high speed chase with the police and being in possession of narcotics shouldn’t count against your insurance rates?

The reason insurance rates are what they are is based partly on zip code. They don’t care whether you’re black or not, but they do care what the auto theft rate is.
They also care whether you park the car on the street, versus parked in a garage. They care about your age. And sex. Teen males are not considered a good risk.
They also care whether the insured has a drinking problem. Drunk drivers pay more for insurance. Is that “fair”?
As is their custom, Leftists are forever wanting everybody else to pay for their fairy tale ideas.
Damn, he’s dumb. Then again, they probably were using etching stone tablets back when he went to college.
If one is a Democrat then one must embrace the religion of call almost all things racist.
Maybe if blacks stopped driving expensive, high performance vehicles, they wouldn’t have higher insurance rates than us white supremacists.
