Georgia GOP Gov. Brian Kemp says Trump 'didn't do a good enough job' of making the case for a second term in 2020

For nearly two years, former President Donald Trump criticized Republican Gov. Brian Kemp of Georgia for not helping him overturn now-President Joe Biden's victory in the Southern swing state in the 2020 election.

In advance of the 2022 midterms, Trump even recruited former Sen. David Perdue to run against Kemp in the GOP gubernatorial primary, but the governor defeated him landslide — a reflection of his strength among Peach State conservatives.

And in the November general election, Kemp defeated his Democratic archrival Stacey Abrams by nearly eight points, winning by nearly 300,000 votes — a marked improvement over his roughly 55,000-vote victory against the former state lawmaker in the 2018 gubernatorial contest.

During last year's campaign, Kemp — who was once an ally of Trump — largely avoided talking about the former president.

The one thing I can say for Kemp is that he started to end the Covid lockdowns before other governors, even (I think) before Florida.

“ He most certainly did make the case - with the accomplishments of his first term. He shouldn’t have even needed to campaign.”

And yet the election thieves would lead us all to believe all these Dems who didn’t or barely campaigned across the country won?

Kemp and his supporters/voters will reap the whirlwind they planted. Cheating seems to be inherent in some states.

Maybe. The demographics aren't going to do us a favor at this point. A lot of people have fled blue states to red states like Florida so blue states are bluer now. Arizona and Georgia are blue. It doesn't matter if blue states are declining in population. The Democrats still have all the political power. And the Cenaus is only every 10 years.

Yeah, it was most suspicious that the throne of science…CDC never called out the king of independence like they did for the rest of US. Nothing like the science of double standards. I demand the whole executive branch and their kin , in GA produce their tax returns for the past ten years!

Unless this is discussed in context with unprecedented voting irregularities in 2020 its just more political bloviating.

AFAIC, the one who didn’t do his job was Kemp. He had the bully pulpit and senior leadership influence that could have kept Secretary of State Raffensperger from signing the voting consent decree with the DNC, he wants to give a $2000 raise to all state employees, and he’s just called for $150M in spending for add-ons. AND, he JUST reinstituted the 30 cent/gallon gas tax.

Yeah....he’s one to be talking. I unfortunately had to vote for him because the alternative, Stacy Abrams was worse.
But it’s vote I’m sorely ashamed of - as with GWB, Romney and McCain. Frigging politician.

Hard to say. Might be better to let Stacy Abrams so the Republicans in Georgia would do a better job organizing the next time?

Trump became President but look at what happened to the Democrats afterwards. Stacy Abrams may have that similar effect in Georgia.

With Kemp, it's business as usual. And he's a RINO. So he gets away with things where Stacy Abrams would be blocked by the Republicans in the legislature.

Somebody please be sure to interview the bigmouth one of these days when all the irrefutable evidence is disclosed, the 2020 and 2022 elections are overturned and the hundreds of high level perps who were in on the steal have been to Gitmo and had their necks stretched severely; IF by some fluke he himself gets by without going to Gitmo himself. I seem to recall him being right in the middle of the 2020 fracas, lying his immortal soul to a cinder clinker, telling everyone how safe and true and honest that election had been. It shouldn’t be long now. Wait for it.

Georgia GOP Gov. Brian Kemp says Trump 'didn't do a good enough job' of making the case for a second term in 2020
As opposed to the stellar performance Biden did from his basement classified document vault AKA Hunter's bed room.

According to Gov. Kemp, Trumps first term of the most accomplished President in his (your) lifetime compared to Biden wasn't a good enough job.

Who's the clueless moron in this picture?
