Yeah, all that white stuff sort of kills the warmth conspiracy. LOL! It may not be snowing there, but it’s sure chilly! Guess it’s winter in TN. Not so much here. More like early fall.

Yep, it’s winter here at the moment but next week will feel more like spring. As much as I enjoy the warm breaks, it’s going to hurt when it gets cold and stays cold because I can’t get acclimated.

Gizmo seems to be enjoying Comanche Lake quite a bit these days. I am looking forward to the day when we get a new battery cable installed into the pickup and we can start doing Waurika Lake again soon but take a look at these pics from Comanche Lake yesterday.
And the weather was nice too.

Gizmo seems to enjoy himself no matter where he is. LOL
It sure was a prettier day than it was here.

Exactly what I worry about with the kitties. Especially Li’l Bit and Grey who are the smallest and have silky hair with not as much of an undercoat as the others. Luckily, they are the two that really take advantage of the “caves” with the heated pads. They’re smart little girls!
It is a hard roller coaster to ride. And we just keep riding it. :)

Your kitties have had it rough with the weather not letting them get good, thick coats this year. Those pads were a great investment.
I couldn’t help but feel bad for all the wildlife here last night. It had rained hard and soaked them, then the cold front blasted in with strong wind. Poor critters had to be miserable. I was miserable when I went out to the well houses to check the heaters, and I was bundled up and dry.

They were a good investment. And they weren’t that expensive, either. They are fleecy and cozy as well as having the self-heating center. Peaches and Ginger don’t use theirs any more. Maybe it just hasn’t been that cold overnight in the house to make them want to.
I do feel sorry for animals that have to be out in the elements...especially with no shelter. I’ll bet your barn gets quite a few guests. :) It might be fun to have a webcam out there to see just who might take advantage of it. Or. Maybe it’s best NOT to know. LOL!
I’m going to head out as soon as my show is over. Didn’t get much of a nap for some reason. See ya tomorrow...at least for a bit.

Vegetating in your recliners seems like a really good way to work on getting your energy back.
Keep up the good work!!
I am really happy that the coughing has almost stopped. Coughing is a huge energy zapper.

I wouldn’t think inside cats need those pads. Too warm in the house. They’re great for the outside kitties though.
I know critters take shelter in the barn but there’s no telling what and how many. I don’t think I want to know. LOL
Enjoy your show and get a good night’s sleep. Catch ya tomorrow.

It’s taking a long time for my knee to heal. Tippy and I are taking short walks, and she has adapted nicely but it makes me so mad that we can’t do our wonder epic hikes.
I’m doing all the recommended things, so hopefully it will get better.
