The hidden origin of the escalating Ukraine-Russian conflict-The Maidan massacre
Pearls and Irritations ^ | Mar 3, 2022 | Ivan Katchanovski

The Ukraine-Russia conflict is now in its most dangerous phase since it began in 2014 after the Western-backed overthrow of the Ukrainian government.

***

Two leaders of the far-right Svoboda party also stated in separate interviews that a Western government representative told them and other Maidan leaders a few weeks before the massacre that Western governments would stop recognizing Yanukovych after casualties among protesters reached 100. Such specific conditionality created incentives to “sacrifice” protesters and attribute their killing to government forces. The slain protesters were called the “heavenly hundred” even after the official investigation confirmed that 49 protesters died on that day. Immediately after the massacre, Western governments blamed the Yanukovych government and his forces for the mass killing and recognized the new Maidan government.

I am sure MeganC has her heart in the right place. I know she cares deeply about the Ukrainian people. The Ukrainians are suffering at the hands of the Russians because WE, the US, and the globalists have pitted them against one another. If the fault lies with anyone it is us who cannot articulately argue the truth.

kraine overthrew a Russian puppet and installed a Ukrainian.

So we can anthromorphize "Ukraine"? Valerii Zaluzhnyi posted a picture of himself on Twitter in front of a portrait of Stepan Bandera on Bandera's birthday. Do we subtract out what happened in Volyna in 1939 and the enduring hatred this glorification e.bodies from your warm and fuzzy conception of "Ukraine"? This is magical thinking - superstition - that ensures the killing continues. Please Megan. Read the resources I have posted here.

I also care about the Russians who are needlessly dying in a war of aggression. Up until 2014 I liked both Russians and Ukrainians the same. I knew lots of them in Sacramento and I attended the Bethany Ukrainian church to hear them sing.

They introduced me to Christianity.

But now I can’t help but side with the defenders. And if it were Ukraine doing this to Russia I’d support Russia.

This is the "West" (US) doing this to Ukraine.

I am pleased to hear that the Ukrainia church has brought you to Christ. FRegards.

You know I got a post removed for linking that movie and the horrors it told.

BTW, any of the Banderites on this web site will naturally deny that any of that happened.

July 11th 1943. A date to remember when they killed nearly every single Polish person, as well as other ethnic groups, they could find in their parish churches.

The USA did not invade Ukraine in 2014 nor did the USA expand the war last year.

That was all on Russia.

There is a vast gulf between the “people of Ukraine” and the corrupt gangster, Zelensky.

Al Capone did not represent or care about “the people” of Chicago. He was a mobster seeking personal wealth and power at any cost.

That is Zelensky, too.

The war in Ukraine is a U.S.-backed slaughter of Ukrainians.

Ukraine is NONE OF AMERICA’S BUSINESS.

Angela Merkel recently admitted that the West’s support of the Minsk 1 and 2 agreements was a deceit intended to buy time for the build-up of Ukraine’s military. Merkel is proud to spit in Putin’s face after lying to him, in cooperation with the warmongers in Washington DC.

This is a proxy war waged by U.S. warmongers who are happy to sacrifice Ukrainians and other suckers by the tens of thousands.

The U.S. leadership has no conscience or shame to march hundreds of thousands to die as cannon fodder fighting the Russians.

The coming result will be the effective end of a Ukrainian nation which never had a chance to defeat Russia.

Poland will likely annex a big piece of western Ukraine which they still believe is part of their traditional Polish territory.

The U.S. sowed the seeds of this tragedy. They worked hard to bring the killing of Ukrainians to high levels.

Wait a minute there MeganC, you have been telling us that the U.S. playing a hand in that coup d'etat was impossible even after you were shown the Rand report.

You're just a person who only wants to look at arguments that support the narrative you want to be the truth, and reject all else without even a glancing consideration.

You're not interested in truth. Instead you are guided by liars who feed you BS that you gobble up as if it were a gourmet meal fit for royalty.

Now you claim that Yanukovych was a Russian puppet (that claim was born & promoted by the very same people who made the same claim about Donald J. Trump being a puppet of Russia). Even though Yanukovych was born to a poor family in the Donetsk Oblast, in the heavily Russian-speaking region of Donbas. The election was deemed fair & honest by foreign observers.

When are you going to start to exercise critical thinking for yourself? That being, you are not supporting the Ukrainian people. You are supporting the Ukrainians as being sacrificial lambs. Not only is their country being destroyed, the citizens are being sent to slaughter and facing real hardships for the sake of an unholy proxy war being waged by the same evil factions in this nation that are destroying your very own nation, and you passively continue to support.

You do so because you keep buying into the false narrative that Russia is still the Soviet Union.

The USA did not invade Ukraine in 2014

I agree that the US Marines did not fire the bullets that came from the hotel rooms rented by Slaboda operatives. But the US (Nuland) promised that if the bullets were fired and 100 died, the US would recognize a junta. So the US has no agency if this is the case?

nor did the USA expand the war last year. That was all on Russia.

Not really. The Russians in the Donbass called bs on the installation of Galicians (Northwest Ukraine) at the levers of power. It is admitted that the West negotiated Misnk I and II in bad faith, so that they could arm Ukraine. They did and the UKR placed 200,000 troops in the front lines in the Donbass after their shelling killed 14,000 - BEFORE the RF entered UKR. So who was spoiling for the fight? That's all on Russia??

Peace will not happen until all observers recognize and acknowledge the role both sides played in the starting if the war OR until one side is analiated and capitulates. The US is ensuring it is the latter. Why is this good?

Zelenskyy is, like PRC’s (that is Politically Repressive Canaduh) Prime Mistake True-dolt, ‘der Führer und Reichskanzler’ K(louse) Schwab’s little poodle. Both are actors (bad actors, that is) playing the role of a leader.

Why does everyone forget about the Ukraine President, Viktor Yushchenko, who was poisoned by Russia in 2004?

This would be an act of war anywhere else.

Ukraine's former president Viktor Yushchenko says he hopes Europe will wake up to the threat posed by Russia in the wake of the poisonings in Salisbury.

Fourteen years ago Mr Yushchenko was taking on a presidential candidate favoured by Russia when he was poisoned with a dioxin, a toxic chemical.

Is this story an inconvenient truth?

Oh yes you did, and it was with me. I showed you the Rand report that talked about what we see happening in Ukraine today, and your comeback was that the Rand is a think tank, and that everything they think is not acted upon. I conceded that that is probable correct, but here you see it spelled out and you also see it in action yet you still deny it?

Like this time, you also provided another snarky flip response that you deemed made you the winner in the discussion. Problem is we both will be losers in the final assessment. Too bad you can't see your ignorance.

You are a flippant little person who sees themself as righteous, but you are in reality blinded by your own self importance to see that you are supporting evil, and nothing can make you see that reality either. One day you won't be able to deny that you were deceived. That day will be when you die and are receiving judgement. The best thing we can do is help stop this slaughter and salvage what is left of Ukraine while there is still the opportunity to do so.

But no, it's an all or nothing at all for "brilliant" people like you and the rest of the Zelenskyy cheerleading squad.

I'm not sue if I first became aware of that movie here - I think so. Let's see how that goes.

So much has happened in Galicia, Volyna and Bukovina - WWI, Communism and famine, Nazi occupation. Without knowing this history, people cannot conceive how what happened in 1943 seemed and continues to some (bandera) to seem the best way to go - almost defensive. Perhaps and advantage in an evolutionary biology sense.

That this is being fed and harnessed for gain to me is unimmagibly horrendous policy and simply unforgivable. Biden's policy.
