I haven’t heard. She kissed enough butt to get one. I’m not happy with her at the moment.

I’m hoping congress takes a regroup of the Custodian Authorization/ file. Custody Receipt Listing (CA/. CRL) for the military and the misuse of it to obtain and give away military inventory like tanks and missiles.

The CA/CRL is the appropriate account for the authorization to use to define what an organization can procure. You’ve probably heard the jokes about buying an ice cream machine to fill/replace the authorization for a jeep if permitted.

If we are to keep our current inventory of authorized weapons of which we are literally giving away to Ukraine, that means an increase to the taxpayer to purchase other pieces of a depleting inventory as it is taken out for the Ukraine. And since it is not being purchased, the only way to legally get the inventory is either to increase the amounts or spend more money yet to be displayed where it is coming from to replace missing inventory pieces. The public has no idea where the inventory being given away to the Ukraine is coming from. It isn’t made for free by companies that do this to earn money. Someone has to foot the bill and right now the taxpayer is for a war we are not in.

There are a couple of ways to do it, but none are legal like turning in a piece of the property coming from some other unit to authorize replacement at the expense of the taxpayer. It’s called misappropriation. (lie) It’s easier with NAF accounts as the property can be sold in auction unlike appropriate property.

So by cutting off the replacement value it cuts into the ability to hide the disappearing equipment and forces the existing equipment to depreciate out which requires time and a continual inventory of existing product. But by forcing a cut inventory, it eliminates the existence of buying new to place old for no return from the Ukraine because their is no justification for turn in.

“Is it correct that a house majority can invoke this without the senate?”

Senate can only fund that which the house passes.

I’d accept that. But ideally, we should seek full restoration of the Articles of Confederation. Think about the wars, theft and cultural destruction that could have been avoided if Fedzilla was never created.

Why do you think Dr. Fauci retired before the new Congress began?

With regards to Green defeating Crenshaw, do you know who was voting? (i.e. Did the entire House vote, just the GOP caucus or members of a committee?)

And you know absolutely none of that will happen - none of it.

True. As long as we’re “ruled by law” and not LED BY LEADERS, nothing will change.

Well that’s a pleasant surprise! I figured enough establishment Republicans would join the Democrats in voting it down.

The House has a speaker. Here’s what comes next

I haven't read all of this, but it may at least spell out the process works.

How does the majority party control the committees?

How does the majority party manage to control all the committees in its house?

The majority party controls the committee system in the House because the Speaker of the House, who is the leader of the majority party, is alloted a great deal of power and influence in the committee system. Specifically, SOTH is in charge of appointing committee chairs. The committee chairs have a huge amount of control over what bills the committee will debate. The Speaker also is responsible for deciding what committee a certain bill will go to; thus the Speaker can assure that a bill from the majority party is swiftly passed.

Hopefully that answers your questions. It at least provides some insight. Good question BTW. 🙂

Right after I posted my initial response, I see the following posted:

Freedom Caucus Member Mark Green Beats Dan Crenshaw in Race to Chair Homeland Security Committee

In it, it says:

Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn.) was selected by the House Steering Committee Monday to chair the House Homeland Security Committee, beating out Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas).

So the House Steering Committee are who votes, but I have yet to find out who those committee members are. 🙂

MTG is fine. She chose her own political strategy. Whether she is successful at it or not, we will see, Her constituents will decide.NOt much of a team player as we know.
