Among the many incendiary claims in Spare, Prince Harry's upcoming memoir, the boast that he killed 25 Taliban while serving as an Army helicopter pilot in Afghanistan will do him the most long-term damage by far.
I doubt he will recover from it.
Most of the revelations in his book amount to a further public airing of his family's dirty laundry, an endeavour to which he and wife Meghan have devoted their lives since running off in a huff to California. Jaw-dropping as some of them are, their real import serves merely to confirm what most had already concluded about Harry.
Blaming William Kate for encouraging him to dress up as a Nazi for a fancy-dress party in 2005 illustrates his repeated failure to take responsibility for his own stupid actions and reinforces his default position that, no matter his own culpability, he is always the victim.
...he's also breached the long-standing convention among British military veterans of all ranks that they don't talk much about the wars they waged, and never about 'kills'.
Just why Harry decided to flout that convention is best known to himself.
Former Army officers, including those who'd served with him in Afghanistan, are speaking out against what he has said. But I found the testimony of civilians whose fathers and grandfathers had fought in various wars even more telling.
When news broke of Harry's 'kill' claim, I tweeted: 'My father was in uniform against the Nazis for six years. Never once in his long life did he ever talk to me about killing the enemy. Even the concept, much less numbers. And he was at Alamein. On the ground. Not in a helicopter.'

He talked about his Taliban kills because he needed to add something to make himself not look like the wimp and crybaby he made himself look to be in this silly book. He came off a pussy and whining spoiled brat.

Harry did kill them this is good. It was his job and honorable. What he has done since marrying Megan is a tragedy to The Crown. Her race is of no importance. Oddly her race was wildly embraced by the British Public. She represented a new age in British Royalty. Her actions as a Royal have been frankly awful.
If one is a Royal the first duty is to protect The Crown. If one will not protect The Crown, he or she must say I am not Royal and then go away in silence as your last act to protect The Crown. Of this, Harry and Megan have failed.
my question is that as a helicopter pilot, how would you know that you killed any number of the enemy? going to get out and count them?
Brags about killing 25 Taliban and whines about a scuffle with his brother. Oh brother. Harry is a sad sack.
I’d like it better if Harry had killed 50 muzzies instead of 25. Killing the enemy IS the point, bragging about it is not.

Meghan has created a make believe world for herself though Harry.
Harry must be seen and tough so when people question her power over him, she can point to his war record. That’s why she told him to say it.
Similarly, she recently intimated they were thinking of having a third child so the other two “would have a sibling.” Uh, they already have each other - it was a lie. She manufactured that lie to keep people from realizing the kids are an inconvenience and she doesn’t have a motherly bone in her body, but they are needed for the image. There is NO ROOM for kids and herself in her life.
Look through the lens of everything being said is a manupulation in support of her fantasy world where she is the most clever of them all to hide the insecurities and shame she developed during her childhood and the subsequent nacessistic peronality disorder Harry had no idea existed.
She cast her body and charms at him literally. Told him sweet lies and now he’s a prisoner. If he tries to leave, she’ll claim he abused her and the children. That’s his future. The trip to Windsor was his chance and she was there to block any attempts to talk sense into him.
This is a living lesson to the whole world.
I would recommend watching every Dr. Ramani video on narcissism. This material should be taught in grade school along with establishing strong boundaries for yourself.
