Donald Trump Jr. Praises House Conservatives: ‘Best Deal the Right Has Ever Gotten from Republican Leadership’

Donald Trump Jr. praised Conservative Republicans on Friday for achieving the “best deal” conservatives “have ever” received from GOP leadership as Republicans begin to coalesce behind Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) for Speaker of the House.

“Proud of my conservative friends in the house who just won the best deal the right has ever gotten from Republican Leadership,” he wrote. “We need to put petty personal disputes aside & do what’s best for the movement. This is a transformational deal that will change Congress for the better!”

So, they get a lick and a promise from people who never keep their promises. After he is installed it all goes back to normal.

I hope those turncoats are happy.

Beware of the small print.

Yesterday rep Dan Crenshaw was calling the brave 20 and I quote “terrorists”.....he is now on Newsmax giddy as hell.

Basically confirming that the Establishment leadership calls the shots, and the “right”, real America, real MAGA are just dogs who will take whatever crumbs are thrown at them. So this time the elites were forced to throw a few extra crumbs to them. Such a victory!

Funny, but I thought the Republicans were supposed to be the conservatives.

Yes - tongue in cheek sarcasm, right there...

I don’t care what concessions the conservatives think they have gotten—McCarthy is BAD NEWS and a LIAR. He will turn on the American people at the first chance. And I sure don’t like him in any line of succession of the presidency. He’s a snake.

Yes, McCarthy will be third in line, right after the Demented One and the Cackler. Not encouraging. It appears he’s owned by Schwab and Soros too.

Who really believes that this republican "leadership"/cabal will actually abide by any agreement that is not convenient for them? Yes, I used the word "cabal" and it has been that way for a while. The cabal does not represent conservative republicans. It is overwhelmingly lefty RINO's who talk a good game while playing footsie with the democrats.

Why do we think that they will honor agreements with conservatives? These are the people who look the other way and do nothing, while the democrats and their minions in the agencies harass and disenfranchise conservatives. Illegally censor their speech. These people facilitate and work with the democrats to ensure that they are ok with this.

Isn’t part of the deal that even one congressman can call for a revote on the speakership?
So if he doesn’t live up to the deal any of them can revoke his speakership.

It just goes to show that for these 14 individuals it was all show and blow. They could care less what their constituents want.

They wanted committee assignments, campaign money and other things, other than that which is good for the Country, the Constitution and their constituents.

So, it will be business as usual. Open borders, turning the country into a haven for people who don't give a wit about what the Country means, excessive spending and all the rest.

Well, shed your tears for the 'late/great' United States.

Apparently that is what majority of American voters want?

The real MAGA candidates did not win majority in November.

A bargain is only good if both sides adhere to it. McCarthy will not adhere to any bargain that makes it harder to help the Democrats put over their programs

The best I can say about that is, it’s pretty rich of Trump to say that, considering he was endorsing McCarthy and the Pelosi rules all along. Biting my tongue on how I really feel.

Trump Jr. said that.

His dad didn’t want the changes, apparently.
