Brian Mast Says McCarthy Is ‘Different’ from McConnell, Ryan, and Boehner
Breitbart ^ | 01/05/2023 | WENDELL HUSEBØ

Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) stated on the House floor Thursday that Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is a “different” type of politician from former Speaker Paul Ryan, former Speaker John Boehner, and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

Mast, speaking to nominate McCarthy for speaker of the House for the eighth time, tried to draw a contrast between McCarthy and former and current establishment Republican leaders.

“I’m proud to say that Kevin McCarthy is different,” Mast argued. “He is different. That is why for those I was speaking to earlier, the process is where it is today. He is different. He’s not Paul Ryan. He’s not going to tell you, ‘You’ll get a term limits bill,’ and then you won’t.”

At least my Rep returned his dirty FTX dirty money which is more than McCrooked and McTurd have done. Eventually they’ll be forced to return it for bankruptcy and that why McTurd has to win so he can cover his dirty FTX money loss

Rep. Brian Mast speaking in support of RINO McCarthy and nominating him is a RINO too.

Expressed support in a 2018 New York Times opinion piece, to ban weapons he called “the best killing tool the Army could put in my hands.”

Yeah he’s different.
Slicker. A more clever turncoat. Hang tough, patriots. He’ll have to withdraw his name eventually.

Yeah --- he has grayish-white (or whitish-gray) hair.

Exactly. You see Kieven can be pro-Ukraine and pro fiscal restraint at the same time. HE didn’t support the omnibus. NOOOOO! This paragon of fiscal restraint voted against the omnibus and expressed his outrage [futiley since the dems held a clear majority].

The first time I heard of Kevin McCarthy was around 2011, when he was elected to his first GOP leadership job in the House.

Back then, Numbers USA, a Conservative immigration organization, graded every Congressman (A to F) on their immigration related voting record.

Numbers USA graded McCarthy as an F.

McCarthy's California District - then and now - was more than 50% Hispanic.

On Free Republic, I expressed my extreme displeasure about McCarthy's failing grade, but conceded that it was better to elect a center-left Republican from California rather than a neo-Marxist Democrat.

Bottom Line - the GOP is the most diverse and most consequential right wing political organization in the world (which - I agree - is not saying much).

However, numerically, the Democrats have more legal voters than we do, so perpetual Republican compromise is the only policy we have, or we will have no power at all.

Different?
He was Paul Ryan’s no. 2, and I never heard him oppose Ryan’s treason and obstruction.

“Brian Mast Says McCarthy Is ‘Different’ from McConnell, Ryan, and Boehner”

So far as I know, the others don’t have boyfriends. So he may be right.

So, he’s better at pretending to do what the base of the party wants but will be no better at accomplishing what it wants than Ryan?
