Zelensky is just an actor and he has been playing the entire world into handing him money without any accountability. He claims he is fighting for freedom and democracy when he refuses to comply with the Minsk Agreement which falsely was to allow those in the Donbas to vote on their own future.
Now he has empowered his government to shut down all dissent. Upon his return from meeting the Biden Administration, he took back some needed advice – restrict ALL media, block ALL websites that expose the truth, and order Big Tech to censor all negative comments about him or Ukraine. This site is not blocked even in China – it will be in Ukraine. So much for freedom, democracy, and free speech.
It was Kyiv that started the war by sending troops to attack the Donbas in 2014 and that was the West’s installed “temporary” government that started the war – not any elected Ukrainian government. Zelensky was elected promising to pursue peace and end corruption. He has done exactly the opposite. So much for campaign promises. They always say whatever they need to win, and then do the exact opposite. When Zelensky was elected, the Russian press cheered. They thought this actor would actually seek peace.

You obviously have trouble reading English...In 2014 there was a deal where the Donbas would be granted greater autonomy as the area is about 95% Russian...Merkel recently admitted the agreement was a joke and they had no intention of enforcing it. Then the VP goes to Europe and says Ukraine should join NATO, something that ‘everyone’ agreed would never happen, and the Russians warned would be a red line. These are all facts, not opinions. I never wrote I supported Russia attacking Ukraine, and if I did please point that out in my post...you are delusional. Not supporting one country in a war does not mean you support the other. I don’t care about either of these countries, any more than I care about fighting in Syria or Libya.

The Minsk agreement that Russia refused to abide by, claiming it wasn't a party to the agreement and so was not bound by the terms to remove heavy weapons/artillery from the Donbass? Heavy weapons and artillery documented in mass numbers by the OSCE entering from Russia? But Ukraine HAD to remove its weapons because it was bound by the agreement? THAT Minsk?
Sounds like a Palestinian type of agreement to me. YOU disarm, but the baddies continue to militarize and build up their forces for round two.

This civil war started then and has escalated to level’s unthought of- which we are at right now, go War Cheerleaders, escalate,- war, war, war, but the fact remains four ethnic Russian provinces are now a part of the Russian Federation. …hint: they aren’t leaving, and the war ends on Blad’s terms.

A Russian claim based on zero evidence. The OSCE, on the other hand, has documented Russian ceasefire violations since 2015 and the trafficking of 30,000+ Russian soldiers coming and going from the Donbass alongside Russian supply columns. Russia was even using long range artillery in the Donbass to train their conscripts because they knew Ukraine's hands were tied for serious retaliation.
What is clear is no one will change anyone’s mind. My belief is the “ last chapter”. Time will most certainly tell.
