Do be aware the Ukies started shelling the ethnic Donbass back in 2015…for eight years. This civil war started then and has escalated to level’s unthought of- which we are at right now, go War Cheerleaders, escalate,- war, war, war, but the fact remains four ethnic Russian provinces are now a part of the Russian Federation. …hint: they aren’t leaving, and the war ends on Blad’s terms.

A Russian claim based on zero evidence. The OSCE, on the other hand, has documented Russian ceasefire violations since 2015 and the trafficking of 30,000+ Russian soldiers coming and going from the Donbass alongside Russian supply columns. Russia was even using long range artillery in the Donbass to train their conscripts because they knew Ukraine's hands were tied for serious retaliation.

They left Kherson as Ukrainian forces punched through their defenses and entered the range necessary to completely cut off Russian logistics to the region.

I imagine Russia will leave the rest of these "eternal Russian territory" in much the same way, and not in the distance future either.
