The head of NASA has said that China could claim the moon as its own territory if beats the US in the race to the lunar surface.
In an interview with Politico, published Sunday, NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said Chinese military expansion in the South China Sea was an indicator of what might happen on the moon.
Nelson said: "It is a fact: we're in a space race. And it is true that we better watch out that they don't get to a place on the moon under the guise of scientific research. And it is not beyond the realm of possibility that they say, 'Keep out, we're here, this is our territory.'
"If you doubt that, look at what they did with the Spratly Islands."

I wonder if he ever talked about the oil leak on the rover...
https://www.aulis.com/rover_fenders.htm
You see—there was the same exact oil leak on the rovers on three different missions.
The pictures are at the bottom of the article—see for yourself.
What we need to regulate behavior in these situations is a “Moon Treaty.”
Like the one that was ratified in 1979.
Which China refused to sign.
As did the USSR.
And the US of A.
Oops.
Do we know for sure they haven't? After all, The Big Guy needs his 10%.
I should’ve bought the mineral rights when I had the opportunity to do so.
*SMIRK*
No, he did not.
You are barking up the wrong tree, trying to convince me that the lunar missions were faked.
I lived in NM for 14 years, short time in Las Cruces and many years in Silver City. Many of my ham friends worked at NMSU university, White Sands MR, Hollowman AFB, Kirkland AFB, Ft. Huachuca (AZ), Sandia Labs, Los Alamos.
We did some amazing projects in the Mid 1970’s to Mid 1980’s, long before the advent of cell phones, and the internet.
I knew some of the best engineers, technicians and physicists in the nation. It was a tight community.
I ran a Navy/Marine Corp MARS station out of my home for 19 years.
You will never convince me they faked anything.
Today? Would not bet on it.
My father-in-law was an EE and spent 40 years in the weapons industry (He was an intelligence officer in the 82nd Airborne, before.) Knew a number of his technical people. They were outstanding technically and great people too. (this was in Texas, not NM)

Ask your buddies to look at this stuff—they will “get it” and realize that they were played...
It is all the same BS.
Will NOT spend 30 seconds researching this crap.
And we'll get there again once we rebuild our manned lunar space program with the right number of blacks, trannies, and Muslims.
And on top of what I previously explained to you:
My in-laws lived directly across the street from the Husband’s family. Their son was Rick Husband, Commander of STS-107, all on that mission died. I did not know Rick personally, but my in-laws knew them well.
So, don’t lecture me on this crap.
Like seeks like. _Resident Moon Rock, LOL!
Kill every Chinaman.
