[EXCERPT]
According to an article written by former U.S. Representative Bob Barr, hidden away in the recently passed infrastructure bill, the very one I warned before would negatively impact drivers across the country if it were to pass, is a measure to install vehicle kill switches into every new car, truck, and SUV sold in this country. The regulation likely won’t be enforced for five years, so maybe there’s time to do something about this. …
It gets even better: Barr points out that the bill, which has been signed into law by President Biden, states that the kill switch, which is referred to as a safety device, must “passively monitor the performance of a driver of a motor vehicle to accurately identify whether that driver may be impaired.” In other words, Big Brother will constantly be monitoring how you drive. If you do something the system has been programmed to recognize as driver impairment, your car could just shut off, which could be incredibly dangerous.
There is the possibility the kill switch program might measure your driving as impaired, then when you try to start the car up again the engine won’t fire up. That would potentially leave you stranded.
But wait, there’s more. This kill switch “safety” system would be open, or in other words there would be a backdoor. That would allow police or other government authorities to access it whenever. Would they need a warrant to do that? Likely not. Even better, hackers could access the backdoor and shut down your vehicle.

Joy.
If they were available in Canada, the truckers protest would have been shutdown by the gov’t.
THAT is the reason for the remote kill switches!!
Got snow? Push your EV
Some new and used car lots have a starter shut off devise in them so it can’t be started to umm prevent theft from the lot.
I didn’t know it until I bought my 2011 pick up I was at a gas station went to start it nothing had it towed to a GM dealer and they removed it.
Have your car checked
Indeed never take your eye off the feds
Are you prepared to convert the distributors back to points and condensors? The pointless circuit board is fryable from what I’ve heard.
The elite will have to outlaw the old stuff because of emissions donchaknow.
This just codifies what they already have.
I know someone with a couple of Jag Xj cars. Some liked playing with her kill switches too.
Yeah on the Chrysler transverse unit it’s a needle thrust bearing in the converter that fails. 10 dollar part, 3000 dollar failure.
I strongly agree we should buy a pre-1974 vehicle that does not have electronic ignition so is NOT subject to external disabling via electromagnetic pulse. Don’t worry about it being a restored “show” car. Something that starts, runs and drives reliably is fine.
Smart people need such a vehicle using the old system: spark plugs, points, condenser, rotor.
Even an old farm tractor with a hand crank and magneto could provide you with transportation.
Very clever
Understand your premise, but you better also have fuel stockpiled as none of the pumps will work, right?
“but someone was throwing the switch, regularly.
Do you really think someone was taking the time to monitor your car, and killing the engine just to mess with you or your wife?
I’ll take the Occom’s Razor approach: The 1986 switch was malfunctioning”
I can verify those cars do have a kill switch, and it is the only thing that functions properly
At least once a month my Toyota Rav4 flashes a message for me to take a break. Generally happens while negotiating a work zone, going around a bike rider or summer traffic.
That’s gonna be tough to do, when there are so many sensors for just the timing of fuel injection and firing. If automatic, there’s clutches that rely on the computer.
More power to ya, but it sounds like the new stuff is beyond converting to old school. I even feel that way about my 07 highlander.
the source mentions that the kill switch will have a back door for outside forces to use. THAT will be found in the first month of deployment and used or blocked by the various hacking groups on the internet. 100% guaranteed. And they’ll do it just because they can.
“I mentioned this a few times a while back and everyone thought I was paranoid.”
Just because you are paranoid doesn’t mean they are not all out to get you. Those things can be mutually exclusive.
Weren’t their light switches labeled... DIM.....FLICKER.....OFF
Don’t forget that traitor neoCON “Republican” Ray LaHood, who served as demon Obama’s Transportation Secretary, first floated the idea of taxing people per mile driven and putting GPS trackers in cars. His son is now the Representative from the district he used to represent, because that’s how American-style elections roll.
This has been in the works a long time. It’s amazing to me how the one-world, satanic globalists (neoCONs, communists, leftists, and never-trumpers united together) play the long game. They don’t mind spending a century or decades achieving their objectives.
**Even an old farm tractor with a hand crank and magneto could provide you with transportation.**
Lol. With steel wheels. No flats to worry about. Or spike strips, lol.
