The Hill hates Trump and is seeking to divide loyalties from voters.
DeSantis isn’t going to run but some of those who work themselves up over him will then not vote for Trump.
Which is the whole idea behind this ‘DeSantis’ thing.
Because the left hasn’t got a good candidate. They fear losing. They have to figure out how to get a bad candidate elected, hence divide and conquer.
The Left gets a bad candidate elected by cheating! It has worked for the last two U.S. election cycles, so far.
The Left would dearly love to renegotiate what they paid per ballot in 2020.
DeSantis will run. He'd be stupid not to and he's not stupid.
If Trump wins the primary, DeSantis voters will get on board. Trump's problem is that he's lost the independent and swing voters who are critical for Republicans to win presidential elections.
The political partisans who post on Free Republic aren't the problem. It's the people who don't post here that won't vote for Trump (but they voted for DeSantis in his re-election landslide).
They installed Joe with no problem. Deep state cabal did what they had to do to make it happen. They’ll do it again.
