Illegal Immigrants Set to Fill Up Arizona Colleges in 2023
Arizona Sun Times ^ | January 1, 2003 | Alexa Schwerha

Arizona colleges are preparing to enroll more illegal immigrants this spring after voters approved a ballot measure to allow undocumented students to qualify for in-state tuition, Arizona Public Media reported.

Voters approved Proposition 308 during the midterm elections with 51.7% of the vote to allow all students to receive in-state tuition regardless of immigration status so long as they graduated from an Arizona high school which they attended for a minimum of two years. Undocumented students will be eligible for in-state tuition prices beginning in January, Arizona Board of Regents Chair Lyndell Manson told APM.

(snip)...

“It’s an incredible deal for Dreamers and undocumented immigrants to be able to get a better education, and we foresee a large number of students returning to our colleges,” Chuck Coolidge, executive vice president of marketing and communications at the Maricopa County Community Colleges, told APM"

Exactly.

What an upside down world we’re living in.

“yammer on constantly about “sustainability”

My favorite “sustainable living” clowns are the ones living on earthquake faults in California.

When the ground shakes beneath their feet they still can’t figure it out...even chimps are not that stupid.

“Americans need not apply”

That’s the message.

These days the universities get extra cookies if they are a “hispanic serving institution”. Soooo...get mo’ hispanos!

That’s what’s happening here.

Pretty funny in the end: the people we fought to create this country now get seize the benefits for themselves.

There’s a reason that The Bandit occupies such a high profile in Mexican culture. “Robbery under law” was the name of the book that Evelyn Waugh wrote about it...

My legal naturalized Filipino worker`s son has to wait 10 years to get into USA. The son has a master`s degree in electronics engineering from a Singapore university. He is pissed off really good at Biden.

It’s easier to establish ca residency for UC’s in state tuition for an illegal immigrant than it is for other U.S. legal residents. The former just needs to attend ca public schools sporadically (ok to travel back and forth from ca to Mexico) the latter has a strict checklist of about 13 items to qualify for ca residency, including their senior year at a ca high school, lots of rules about their parents’ income and whereabouts etc.

More fruits of a printed, fiat, manipulated Federal Reserve monetary system.

printed money supports massive debt and every leftist social-engineering scheme they can imagine.

The cartels must have spent a lot of money to get that passed.
Now Az. will try to educate a bunch of dummies. I know illegals that have been in the USA for twenty years and still don’t speak English and never will.

Those numbers are true, but we really haven’t felt what total collapse is. When and why does total collapse happen? When interest rates soar and 100% of tax collections go to interest payments? There is MUCH worse to come.

We fought vigorously against that.

Prop 187 was written specifically to counter Plyler V. Doe but was nullified by one federal jusge - the mysterious, never seen Mariana Pfaelzer - and later by Richard DeLeon in the California legislature.

It’s beyond despicable: it’s a violation of the 14th Amendment. But when it hit the SCOTUS...they didn’t do nuthin’.

So apparently all that nastiness about making Federal Citizens of the Africans was...irrelevant. The States can simply counteract that.

Silly me.

The measure would not have passed if the machines had not "broken down" on election day.

“Now Az. will try to educate a bunch of dummies”

They’ll do what UC does: give them all Chicano Studies “degrees”.

Kinda like the sheepskin they gave the Scarecrow.

Oh and that’s if they can get in.

The Essay has to be a sob story about the “immigrant experience” and of course if you check the “First generation” to go to college box, baby yer in...

But not our kids. They may take calculus in high school and get 5’s on the AP tests, but...no matter. You don’t get into the schools your taxes paid for.

How can they afford it ? D’oh the taxpayers will can

These people are already here.

They'll generate a lot more tax revenue for the state when they're educated and working than if they're just hanging out with a high school diploma.

A large, uneducated population isn't great for anyone.

They can just drive home from Tucson. Only takes about 40 minutes.

And then they can magically be back in that great Aztec Wakanda in the Sky known as Meh-he-ko. Where Aztec hypersonic airliners cruise the sky, gleaming pyramidal skyscrapers spring from La Tierra, and Souped up Cholomobiles zip everywhere.

This place:

The charming grubby shacks on the right are in Mexico. The BP vehicles and the modern buildings where the air conditioning works are on the Left. McDonalds is just up the street so you can get a last bite of "civilization" before you go Up the River to meet Sr. Kurtz.

If you spend some time in grocery stores in Sun City, AZ, you will have your answer. Those people look like shriveled up prunes with brown leathery wrinkled skins. Their brains are deep fried by the Sun as well.
