A 32-year-old woman is being held without bail after allegedly shoving a 3-year-old girl off a Northeast Portland MAX station platform and onto the train tracks Wednesday, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s office said.
A male bystander quickly rescued the child, who reported a severe headache and had a small red mark on her forehead, the district attorney’s office said.
Brianna Lace Workman, 32, was arraigned Thursday in Multnomah County Circuit Court on charges of first-degree attempted assault, a felony, and third-degree assault, interfering with public transportation, second-degree disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment and harassment, misdemeanors, court records show.
Workman is listed as homeless and living in Portland, according to court records.
Workman is accused of shoving the child, who was waiting with her mother at the Gateway Transit Center on Wednesday. The girl, who was not publicly identified, landed face-first on the metal rail and rocks before being rescued from the train tracks, the district attorney’s office said.

Dear Lord, please protect the children.
These mentally-ill people need to be in facilities.
“Northeast Portland MAX station platform”
In addition to having to eat bugs and put up with Groomers in our schools, one of the reasons why the US and much of the West will soon be unlivable due to the Globalists is that they will FORCE people to use public transportation, to get anywhere.
If we are lucky, and the Globalists are stopped before they’re able to expand beyond Western nations, there will still be other countries that we can move to.
...and, at this point, I do not care who stops the Globalists, only that they be STOPPED.
Euthanize that creature, just to be on the safe side.
The only time I have occasion to use a subway system is during some of my travels. Because of various stories like this I wait for the train as far back as possible from the edge.
My wife cites stories like this as examples of “toxic masculinity”. A male who was no relation to the child, put himself in harm’s way to save the child. While I’m sure the mother would have been willing to do same, it was the man who acted decisively and got the job done.
My wife admires men who do that sort of thing.

Indeed, but the Rats prefer they roam unsupervised.
Closing down mental institutions made the situation worse for everyone involved.
Looks like a serious meth head.
She looked pretty good, not long ago, based on her FB pages.
“Listed as homeless and living in Portland.”
When crap like this happens I can’t help but ask if someone like, say Evander Holyfield, Floyd Mayweather, Connor McGregor Rhonda Rousey etc were standing in the same exact spot as that little girl would this bitch even think of messing with those tough guys? Funny how the “voices” in these psychos heads never tell them to pick on someone their own size
WHY in the hell do we seem to have SO MANY MORE mentally ill people toda than in the past??? Is it just drugs???
Your first and last sentences are exact opposites. It threw me off at first, then I understood the context given.
Your wife is a wise person who thinks for herself.
Hold the POS down on the tracks and lt the train cut the bitch in half... That would be justice.
Thanks be to God for that man who saved the child.
Author Robert A. Heinlein (1907-1988) once spoke at the Naval Academy to graduates. He told of a woman crossing a picnic area and getting her foot stuck tightly in a track conjunction. Her husband and a total stranger tried to free her but couldn’t. Then a train was approaching from around a curve. Neither jumped out of the way, trying to save her to the last second as the train killed all three.
„The husband’s behavior was heroic … but what we expect of a husband toward his wife: his right, and his proud privilege, to die for his woman. But what of this nameless stranger? Up to the very last second he could have jumped clear. He did not. He was still trying to save this woman he had never seen before in his life, right up to the very instant the train killed him.
And that’s all we’ll ever know about him.
This is how a man dies.
This is how a man … lives!“
Was she high on meth?
