A 25-year-old man was arrested Friday morning in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains in connection with the murders of four University of Idaho students, law enforcement sources told ABC News.
Sources said that authorities knew who they were looking for and had tracked the man down to Pennsylvania.
A SWAT team entered the location where he was staying in order to take him into custody Friday.
Moscow police officers, members of Idaho State Police, Moscow city leaders and University of Idaho officials will hold a news conference at 1 p.m. local time Friday.

He’s been arrested, but I don’t think he’s been charged - yet.
He was in court this morning but that may have been to send his arse back to Idaho.

FReepmail me to be added to the list.
Is that a prison garment he is wearing? Modern straightjacket? Are his hands cuffed behind him? Does seem to have an emotionless face....I hope they have gotten to the bottom of this mess...
WSU is very close to Moscow, ID.
“...the time zones in Idaho are not based upon an E/W paradigm, but rather a north/south orientation...”
SOP nowadays to put suspect in a bulletproof vest.............
That's pretty damning evidence regarding "state of mind", in a Dr. Kevorkian kind of way.

The Brazen Bull
I agree that is how they were originally set up, but the reason they remain in place is indeed because of the fact that North Idaho is generally tied to the Spokane MSA.
They have thousands of agents working under pseudonyms ..actually 10s of thousands on social media sites to disseminate propaganda.
Mostly on Chinese websites but I’m sure hundreds and hundreds on FB, Twitter even places like here likely. I’d guess there are several times I’ve argued with “liberals” who were CCP military or government.

Looks like it’s basically a straight shot from Pullman to Moscow. Only about 9.5 miles.

Back when drinking age in ID was 20, a LOT of WSU students drove over there for the many bars.
Lots of Highway Patrol. Students tried to take back roads home through the wheat fields. Deputies had two license plates; ID and WA, so there was no argument about jurisdiction. Or so I have been told.
My theory is that when LEO searched for the owner of a white 2013 Hyundai, they checked with campus police for the University of Iowa and Washington State University, who have a database of the name of every student who has a permit to park on campus, as well as the year, make, model, and license plate of the vehicle. They then learned that the owner of a vehicle matching that description was a PhD student in criminology at WSU, and that peaked their interest (like a fireman who sets fires). LEO then found his photo on the WSU website and witnesses or surveillance video matched the photo to someone who was at the Corner Club on one or more occasions, including the night of the murders. LEO then searched the suspect’s office at WSU and found a coffee cup, pen, or some other item that contained a DNA sample, which they matched to DNA found at the crime scene. I would like to know whether the suspect stayed in the area after the murders or immediately headed east. If he suddenly disappeared, that would raise further suspicions.
I wonder if the DNA they found was on one of the victims fingernails?................
