A 25-year-old man has been arrested in Pennsylvania in connection with the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students whose bodies were found in a rental home near campus last month, multiple law enforcement sources with direct knowledge of the investigation said Friday.
It marks the first major break in a case that has both captivated and mystified the globe.
The sources said the man was apprehended in the Scranton area Friday morning. Authorities are expected to hold a news conference on the case later Friday.
Few details have been released publicly in the gruesome Nov. 13 slayings of 21-year-olds Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves, and 20-year-olds Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin. The four friends, members of the university’s Greek system, were discovered across the street from campus, leaving the small town of Moscow, Idaho, deeply shaken. Relatively few details have been released about the homicides, intensifying the mystery.
The Moscow Police Department has said it was working through nearly 12,000 tips in an effort to solve the case.
“apprehended in the Scranton area”
Scranton...Scranton...why do we know that city name? Something to do with lunchbuckets?
Biden's fault
Hometown of Pennsylvania’s other braindead U.S. Senator, Bob Casey Jr. As well as the birthplace of China’s puppet emperor Joe Xiden.
Is it his first, middle, or last name “muhammed?”

FJB Also the Rodham clan of grifters hails from there too
I was just watching the show my wife has on TV. An absolute airhead male “reporter” put up a Google map showing the highway route from Moscow, ID to Scranton, PA and actually said “This is a hypothetical route showing the states and cities the suspect could have traveled through.”
There’s never before been a more useless bit of speculation with zero information content on TV.
Well, there WAS the COVID coverage.
I didn't think the police had a clue who they were looking for and I was starting to believe this crime would go unsolved.
Looks like they kept a lot of details under wraps. Good job! Hope this is the guy.
My first thought as well. Where have we heard that before. Sounds so familiar........
Mods took it out of Breaking News as usual - Only news of Trump problems or Freepathons allowed to be posted there.
Fetterman?
Absolutely! That is some good police work to use scant evidence and trace the guy all the way across the country to a rural area.
Indeed, let’s hope they got the right guy.
Or he could have gone to Boise and flown out on an airplane.
If true tjis is excellent news
It will be interesting to learn how they identified him.
Looks like good police work. No hints to the media about this guy being on the radar. They quietly took the flak in the meantime, and then made the arrest.

I have to agree. The police took a lot of badmouthing...unfairly. They were actually a lot smarter about this than many of the pinhead detectives investigating other murders.
A few of the parents weren’t any help either.
Coincidentally, a "Celebration of Life" service will be held today at 3:00 PM PT in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Let's pray that there will be good news for the celebration.
