The presence of police in schools actively jeopardizes the safety of Black students compared to their counterparts of other races, according to a report published this month.
Black students were subjected to more than 80% of the incidents of police violence accounted for in the survey, which analyzed more than 285 incidents over a decade. At least 60% of police assaults on students resulted in serious injury to the students, including broken bones, concussions and hospitalizations. The report also cited 24 cases of sexual assault on students and five student deaths as a result of police force in schools. It was published by the Advancement Project, a civil rights organization, and the Alliance for Educational Justice, a coalition of groups working toward equity in public schools.

Apparently they don’t.
Which is too bad.

Blacks are disproportionately involved with law enforcement because blacks offend disproportionately.
It’s no more complicated than that. There may be some secondary causes (e.g. police bias) but they are small.
It’s stunning how police will spontaneously explode into unprovoked violent attacks on black children. /sarc
When white people riot, assuming it isn’t in the State of Washington, it’s usually leftists and in a black community and they claim to be helping.
As usual, they intentionally reverse cause and effect to advance their racist agenda.
But yet, somehow black people commit a disproportionate amount of crime. Hmm...
so the “report” they are writing about comes from a write up from “””#PoliceFreeSchools.””” which has an agenda to begin with...............
Noticing any differences is considered racism. The bean counters, especially the obama admin, believed blacks suspended at higher rates is solely due to the color of their skin and nothing else - and forced schools to implement a NO suspension or expulsion policy.
When this policy was implemented, the "students" knew it - no consequences for their poor behavior - and all hell broke loose. These schools are very dangerous and there is a reason school police are needed.
Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about.
we must only have black cops in schools where there is mostly black students....that will solve all of it....that or pay more money to the lawyers....
So, for the sake of equity, the Government must mandate that for every black person harmed by police, three whites, two hispanics and one asian receive the same amount of harm.
That’s a real shame....
so no one’s kid can have a secure learning place because of this BS???
Too bad...cry me a river...
a white kid gets reprimanded more severely than a black kid....
and black behavior in the classroom is just a wink wink nod nod because you know, that's their culture norm to be rude, aggressive, hateful, demeaning.
“..Blacks are disproportionately involved with law enforcement because blacks offend disproportionately...”
Well said. That fact is not proclaimed enough.

These people are nuts. My high school didn’t need police until it got heavily integrated.
So the police had more contacts with black inner city kids than others?
Does it have to do with the fact that inner city black juveniles can be uncivilized?
DarrellZero nails it!
It is worse than that. Progressives today ( it a 180 reversal from 100 years ago) have as an object of faith, that all races are exactly equal, therefore any difference has to be the result of racism.
This is being shown as objectively false, but it is a basic premise of leftist thought in the USA today.
An assumption which is in opposition to reality has horrible consequences for any program based on it. That is causing much of the chaos we see in the USA.
Leftists, in general, are very good at confusing and reversing cause and effect.
