She's right in a way but seems to be completely uneducated on the topic. Race is a social construct not a biological one. She's defining race according to the American societal rules.

Generally “race” will equal “tribe” in racist cultures, they also believe that almost every behavioral trait is inherited.

In America, Jews are not a race. Black and white are races despite the ever evolving definitions of those.

Other countries and other times have other definitions. Germanic derived cultures are extremely racist and will have defined many races. For Germans ethnic group equals race, so Jews are a race.
