Moscow's proposals for settlement in Ukraine are well known to Kyiv and either Ukraine fulfils them for their own good or the Russian army will decide the issue, TASS agency quoted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as saying.

"Our proposals for the demilitarization and denazification of the territories controlled by the regime, the elimination of threats to Russia's security emanating from there, including our new lands, are well known to the enemy," the state news agency quoted Lavrov as saying late on Monday.

"The point is simple: Fulfil them for your own good. Otherwise, the issue will be decided by the Russian army."

You mean problems for Russia are being created in random order. By Russia, primarily.

The NATO membership of Poland and the Baltics is a matter of decades. Russia has not in the meantime fostered good relations, certainly not good PR, with these countries.

“I don’t give a damn if Jesus Christ is coming across the border. I want it closed and Russia and Ukraine can kill each other off for all I give a rip.”

I personally would love for Jesus Christ to come across the border.

Other than our Lord crossing the border, it would seem everyone wants the border closed except the Putin supporters & Democrats. I also care of about the Russian nation gone rogue under Putin.

Stevie Wonder can see that coming. The only question remaining to be answered is, when. And tomorrow it is 24 hours to happening than it was yesterday. They fought President Trump tooth and toe nail for 4 years. With him gone, who will stand in the gate? If your answer is “No One”, you win the prize. Even a Democrat knows that if the illegals are prevented from crossing the Southern Border illegally. a big per cent of their graft disappears. Shut down Ukraine and they will have find a new source of dirty money.
Sooner or later, the wet backs they are smuggling across the Southern Border will be turned loose on us. They are not bringing them over here to look pretty.

It is BS. What Russia didn’t to foster good relations with Poland after the Cold War? It simply doesn’t pay the bribes to the tune of that by the American lobby.
The same is true for Finland which also has a reputation for being dumb.

Was recently reading about Chechen war with Russia...took a long time. Russia had a few setbacks,,,,then they overwhelmed the separatists....I wonder if that is the Russian m.o. in war. Just grind it out.....just no way of knowing with the fake news and propaganda from all sides...

“Russians are literally drinking themselves to death.”

They do drink a lot, but i wouldnt characterize it much differently than our own problems with alcohol and drugs.

Ukrainians are not tee-totalers either in my experience.

Both sides suck..the obvious incompetence of our leaders(?) is exposed by the vapid, and uninspiring response regarding the war by them. We seem to be taking a pre WWII isolationist mindset. Meanwhile the other players in the world will get stronger and start their power grabs.
At least our armies will have their pronouns correct.

Question: What should the United States do if the Russians do manage to roll into central Ukraine and defeat the Ukraine Army? Unlikely, but what if they do? Should we send in all we can—with a few others states?—to save Zelensky? To protect Odessa or Kiev? Should we be willing to lose Chicago to save Kiev? How many American lives need we risk to save Ukraine? These are sobering questions we may well need to ask.

There is no drinking age in Russia. As soon as you can stand on two feet and hold a bottle you can drink.

And now that the “Iron Curtain’’ is gone beer has become a big commodity in Russia.

Moderation is also an alien concept to Russians.

Russians drink to get blind drunk. To them there isn’t any other purpose to it.

I know why they’re being let in. It’s population replacement.

Democrats have exploited one class and another for decades.

First it was my Irish ancestors, then Blacks and now it’s Hispanics.

The garbage coming across the border isn’t here to work.

They’re here for free stuff.

Thirty years ago the first wet backs worked low wage construction jobs while their baby factory mamasitas pushed out kids and collected welfare.

It didn’t take long at all for the fathers of these rug rats to figure out they could do a thousand times better sitting on their asses than breaking their backs framing houses.

When Title 42 ends so does America.

Then move your ass to Russia and stop stinking up this site with all your Ukrainian bs.

I'd love to see these two scorpions in a bottle kill each other off. Putin is a thug and so is Zelensky. The only difference between the two is we're shoveling billions to Zelensky and not Putin.

You are a little bit behind times. Drinking in Russia is not very popular anymore, especially among people under 40.

“Russians drink to get blind drunk”

My experience is that upon sitting down for dinner in a russian restaurant, a pitcher of vodka appears in the middle of the table. I did not try to keep up. But nobody got “blind drunk”

I was with professionals so maybe it was class related.

I do not have first hand knowledge of any other drinking habits, but i did not see any pathologies that did not have direvt comparisons in the US.

A partitioning of the Ukraine may be the only path to long term peace in the region.

It is inevitable that Russia will have to be partitioned. But then we will have true peace.
