Question: What should the United States do if the Russians do manage to roll into central Ukraine and defeat the Ukraine Army? Unlikely, but what if they do? Should we send in all we can—with a few others states?—to save Zelensky? To protect Odessa or Kiev? Should we be willing to lose Chicago to save Kiev? How many American lives need we risk to save Ukraine? These are sobering questions we may well need to ask.

Not only unlikely, but impossible. No trained troops, no artillery shells, except what they can get from North Korea, no high tech, except what they can get from Iran. The list goes on.
Modern-day Russia is not the Soviet Union.
