Buffalo has been plunged into chaos as brazen looters wreak havoc on storefronts amid a historic blizzard that dumped six feet of snow on the northern New York city.
It has become the deadliest storm to hit the western part of the state in 50 years, with at least 27 people reported dead as scores of others remain trapped in their houses and cars.
Roads in the city remain impassable under several feet of heavy snow, as first responders struggle to reach those who remain trapped days after the storm hit.

A couple that are friends of ours keep saying it's the end times. We argue that it's the decay of society due to liberals. They then said no, because they voted for Biden and it can't be because of that. We shook our heads, and stopped arguing. You can't fix stupid.
In Democratic controlled areas. Here in Missouri nothing like this would happen. We have a Republican governor who a former country sheriff who would no put up with this.
Same people who in California believe they'll get reparations in excess of the state's budget.
This society is on life-support with no chance of regaining consciousness.
Businesses do terribly under Democrats.
Had some looting in Providence RI during Blizzard of ‘78, martial law was declared, a kid got shot and killed looting (food) and the media was incensed and demanded the mayor apologize and do something. He said‘sorry the kid died but the order stands, looting will not be tolerated.’ Apparently everyone believed him, there was no more looting .
No looting in 77 or blizzard of 1985 in Buffalo, but that was last time they had a Republican mayor. All Dems ever since. And with that comes all other things under that mentality.

Martial law…….. You know the rest.
There are videos on Twitter with looters and videos with gunfire attributed to "Arab" store owners.

It sounds like criminals with handguns fired on owners who caught them and the owners responded with long arms.
There was a video of the 2020(?) riots in which a woman walked back and forth in front of some store yelling that the (Arab) owners weren't fair to brandish guns to defend their property from the rioters.
Well, it is the first day of Kwanzaa...
Reparations came in time for Christmas...
What were the demographics like back then?
Rioting out of season is a no-no.
Not too far from where I live, they’re starting to design and modify stores to be looter-resistant. Typically that means virtually no windows, bollards that block vehicles from getting to the entrance, and also security gates that can be lowered, should the locals become a bit ‘restless’.
This is a long standing tradition. Paula Abdul had two backing musicians in the time of “Straight Up” and “Forever Your Girl” who reminisced about the NYC blackout looting in
which took part, carrying heavy expensive furniture and appliances.
RE: “On July 13, 1977, 45 years ago Wednesday, a major blackout hit New York City. For 25 hours, the darkness led to total chaos, with widespread looting and fires in the streets.” CBSnews.com
My most vivid memory of the TV news reports was a black woman interviewed on the sidewalk:
“They said on TV this was started as an Act of God. That means God wanted us black people to take everything we want. It’s an Act of God.”
I survived the blizzard of '77. This is an interesting 10 minute video. Shows police recovering items.
Looters gotta loot. They need to be shot.

They really were completely unleashed in 2020.
Death by a thousand cuts.
If tis happened in Florida the media would have DeSantis with devil horns installed nailed to a cross.
