Freedom Caucus Rep. Bob Good (VA-5) joined the nationally-syndicated Stew Peters Show and vowed never to vote for Kevin McCarthy for Speaker of the House, telling the host that the GOP establishment leader will be defeated on the House floor during January 3rd’s speakership vote if he doesn’t step aside first, for the good of the country.
Freedom Caucus Rep. Bob Good has been among those legislators leading the charge against establishment leader Kevin McCarthy’s speakership campaign, forging serious and continued opposition with other House conservatives, who vow that CCP-tied, FTX-funded McCarthy will NEVER be Speaker of the House.
During his appearance on the Stew Peters Show, a program that’s become a top destination for America First legislators who want to speak directly to the American People, Good doubled down on his opposition to Kevin McCarthy’s speakership campaign and said he’s confident that his conservative colleagues will stand tall alongside him on January 3rd.
“I have told my colleagues, the 20 or so who are part of this movement, we will remember what we do on January 3rd and beyond for the rest of our lives,” Rep. Good told Stew Peters.
“We must meet the moment. We must rise to the occasion to try to bring transformational change, to defeat the swamp cartel, the uni-party, by doing what hasn’t been done for 100 years where we deny the next in line, majority leader, minority leader, what have you, the vote for Speaker on the House floor, and we take down that supposed favorite for that position to bring true transformational change,” the Freedom Caucus Rep. from Virginia went on.
“We will remember for the rest of our lives that we stood strong and struck a blow against the uni-party, the swamp cartel,” said Rep. Good.

Look beyond McCarthy. Folks like Tom Emmer, who ran the funds, is a massive RINO as are others in leadership. It’s systemic in the house and Senate and won’t change anytime soon. If it’s not McCarthy it will be someone just like him.
Unless someone completely unknown to most of us is able to unite everyone Scalise is a good bet if McCarthy steps down.
I just dont know if he wants it or not? It’s kind of like a job no one really wants. Remember Ryan was reluctant last time.
Andy Biggs will not budge.
Then it will just go on and on to the detriment of McCarthy and the party.
I don’t think the bigwigs will want a spectacle lasting weeks or months.
I think he will go before then.
On one hand you have 30 odd “Kevin Only” and 20 odd (I think) “Never Kevin’s” so it’s a case of who blinks first.
Should be interesting...
Need a Pelosi version in the GOP for Speaker.
Maybe that is what we need.
I am not defeatist, just realistic.
We shall see, but if it comes down to the uniparty keeping power, or giving it up to a populist, better believe they will do whatever it takes to keep that power, every single time.
This is defeatist attitude.
Rep. Scalise from Louisiana might go for it if McCarthy steps down and he’s widely respected.
I’m not saying he’s perfect or anything just the most likely.
He’s also in leadership I believe.
Normally, I don’t Rah Rah females just because they are female, but Elise has been a surprise...a GOOD surprise.
I think that she would do a better job than Nasty P.
I like it.
I like her...could she get the votes?
I like Chip Roy also
Why does Mark Levin support McCarthy? Its expedient so we can have GOP unity to “fight the dems?”
I would sooner see a Freedom Caucus Agenda instead of McCarthy’s poseur agenda.
I like Roy too.
I’m sure we can find someone, after all, the person who served all this time was a basket cased, ignoramus and nasty to boot, so we certainly could and will DO BETTER.
Merry Christmas, Irish.
I understand but think you need to trust these guys.
A lot of what the media are peddling are scare story scenarios to prop up McCarthy and browbeat opposition to him including from our own side in the shape of Mark Levin.
I dont think it’ll happen. Granted, it’s possible but unlikely in my view.
Could have stopped it? How???
Kevin is better than all other GOP speakers that we have had, including Newt, who seemed to salivate at every opportunity to deal with Bubba. And Kevin never sat with Pelosi to fight phantom global warming.
Chip should, but could never get 218 votes. Too masculine.
may God keep the dissent strong and righteous!
Perhaps... Kevin is besmirched by the cozy relationship he kept with Paul Ryan.
Paul Ryan is a swamp creature personified.
