“Russia is a historical Western country”

Err.. no it isn’t.

Russia or rather Muscowy is descended from the Mongol khaganate.

The Duke of Moscow, a vassal of Vkadimir-Suzdal, became the Golden Horde tax collector. Then, when the Golden horde split, the Grand Duke of Muscowy competed with the Khans of Astrskhan, Kazan etc to take over the lands of the Golden horde. Btw those Tatar khans became “Russian” aristocrats.

Then the Tsars of Muscowy went onwards to conquer the rest of the split khaganate , first the Jochi areas, then Chagatai with the conquest if Siberia, and finally with the Toluids, conquering Mongolia proper

It ain’t over until it is over. We are in the process of destroying the global economy, causing a global political realignment, and risking the end of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency. A little early to be taking a victory lap.

“What a missed opportunity to change the world. After the USSR fell, we could have embraced Russia and acted as an impartial negotiator between it and the former Soviet countries.”

Not long after the Soviet Union disintegrated, in 1991, Russia invaded Chechnya (in 1994). Russia was in no mood to negotiate away any of its former holdings, then or now.

Rigggggghhhtttt...and Biden won 2020 by the most votes evah!

Ironic that he cites Hitler but fails to note the Ukrain's neo Nazi 'problem'. Well, it's not a problem for THEM that the core of their military is Azov Neo Nazi.

Trump felt compassion for the citizens but denounced the Ukrainian government's corruption. So the taxpayer funds Biden has 'given' to the Ukraine never reaches the people who deserve help - it just gets passed around by corruptocrats.

The Truth About Ukraine: Donald Trump says "The Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in the world." (Circa 2019, TRANSCRIPT and link of 2 minute video clip )

Support for Zelensky/Ukraine is support for Biden/Deep State

If Putin is a populist, then Obama is a constitutional conservative.

—> Putin has promised to erase Ukraine and recreate the Russian empire.

I don’t recall any articles quoting him on this?

“if it was true, it would leave the Russians with only one option”

Marching what is left of their army back to Russia.

Quote
“2008 Georgia was invaded

2014 Ukraine was invaded and Crimea taken and a frozen conflict kept in the Donbas

2022 Ukraine was invaded again with an aim to make it a vassal state like Belarus”

Your timeline has a gap, Cronos.

2016 MAGA, Stop the endless wars Trump was elected.

And it seems the world calmed down

2020 Trump robbed

World back to being the swamp it has been for a long time..

Only solution.

Drain the swamp in DC.
Then their tributaries around the world go dry..

“”We did?”

That’s what I was wondering. But if true, why does Ukraine need another $45 billion along with a battalion of Patriot Missiles?

““destroyed the Russian military without one American soldier being killed.”

Even IF it were true, this dunce fails to explain how that’s in America’s interest, or the interest of the American people.

And how/whether it’s worth the whole costs.

“Does he think the world will be safer if Russia is left with nothing but their nuclear forces?”

It would be quite a bit safer for any country bordering Russia, that’s for sure.

Good point, but that’s what they were labeled as, back in the day.

Here’s one for you to digest if you have time:

Ukraine wanted to negotiate an end to the war last March. U.S. politicians demanded the war continue. I am now of the mindset the sooner the Russians completely destroy Ukraine’s ability and will to fight, the better. Russia is bombing Ukraine back to the stone age and the U.S. is to blame for it.

When people (American politicians) whose sons are NOT dying dictate relentless war to proxies who ARE dying by the tens of thousands, you can see the slaughter cannot end until there are no young men left to slaughter.

I don’t think most of US population truly understands that war is HELL...Regardless of which side and who is right.
= = =

But, it is waaaay over there. Like Iraq, Viet Nam, Afghanistan, Korea . . . . Kind of like the Peaceful Protests on the other side of the US from me.

And the MSM paints a picture like those Starving Dog ads.

Contribute to their rescue.

But one little Nuke and everything changes. That curdles my innards.

The fake surprise is amusing.

We have been building weapons system for 75 years to defeat Russia in a land war in Europe. We are emptying that inventory for someone else to do it. That’s fine with me.

Russia has always been a bad actor in Europe. That hasn’t changed in100 years.
