President Trump tells Republicans to vote against the $1.7 trillion omnibus:
“It’s crammed with left-wing disasters, Washington betrayals, and special interest sellouts all designed to keep the corruption going.”

Well they didn’t listen. I heard on radio that it was something like 68 to 29 to pass. So some commieRINOs voted for it. B*t%h McConnell voted for it.
He took Barbara Boxer’s seat after she retired...
OMG....never heard of him!

Not trying to be a jerk, but could you please clarify?
Great strategy, really. The deep state republicans hate the Donald so much that if he told them not to jump into the Grand Canyon… they’d be lining up to get their tickets to the place.
“Not breaking news. Not even news. Do we care what NFT trading card Trump says anymore?”
You don’t but most patriotic conservatives do. You’re just another run-of-the-mill anti-Trumper.
“I wish trump had not done this late in the game when it is already a done deal.”
Because no one knew what was in the deal until just a couple of days ago, including the Pubs in Congress. It was dropped at the last minute right before Christmas, all 4,000 plus pages of it, so no one knew what was in it, and still don’t know all of what it contains as no time left to read it closely. This is just as the Dems planned it.
And you expect that Trump would have known what was in it anymore than what we all know, how? Trump is reacting now because like the rest of us, he finally has some knowledge of some of what is in the bill. Trump is not a mind reader about what is in it. He’s out of office in case you haven’t noticed, so stop with slamming Trump who is vocally opposing it now that he has some idea of what is in it. I assume from your comment here that you are part of the anti-Trump bandwagon. You damn with faint praise.
You are OK.
I’m pro trump. I just didn’t understand the circumstances and the timing for the bill.
I still have no clue as to what’s in the bill but I would guess that it fully funds all the federal agencies through 2023 so the republican house cannot threaten any agency with funds cutoff in 2023—as should happen to the FBI
I hate the way the dems run circles around the pubs.
to be clear: I hate the way dems run circles around the pubs. especially the establishment pubs. they seem to have no idea that they are being played. they’re content to lose slowly and quietly over time—as long as they get their perks. this goes from mcconnell to romney to mcdaniel—but I repeat myself.
why any self respecting conservative would support these people is beyond me.
You have a correct point, although I would extend it to say that it seems like that calling for fiscal responsibility is a lot easier than doing it. Likely because it’s not popular to say that budgets should be cut. Trump made that point on Social Security and Medicare a few times while president, that he did not want to reform them.

My senators are Ptoomey and Casey, my rep is a Republican that’s too cowardly to call itself democRAT.
Why waste my time?
I want to hear from those Republicans in the Senate who oppose this bill that they will go independent if it passes. Talk is cheap.
It’s actually worse. Some Senators had permission to vote no for their own protection. I’d say there were maybe 15 hard, legitimate no votes. That is how bad it is.
