According to Republican governor candidate Kari Lake’s legal team, 42.5% of examined ballots in Maricopa County for the 2022 governor’s race were illegitimate. Lake’s trial began on Wednesday were she is attempting to prove that wide scale fraud took place in Maricopa County on election day.
The Lake War Room tweeted on Wednesday that 48 of the 113 ballots that were reviewed during examination were “19-inch ballots produced on 20-inch paper,”
“This one-inch discrepancy cause chaos on Election day. Causing the mass rejection of these votes as they were attempted to be read through the tabulators,” the Kari Lake War Room tweeted.
In a separate tweet, the Lake War Room wrote, “This Is how they disenfranchised Maricopa County voters on Election Day. The ballots were designed to be unable to be read through the machines. This wasn’t an error. It was malice. The process worked exactly as they intended it to.”
One commenter on Twitter noted that there was no way the improper ballot size could have been because of “error.”
“The expert testified there are only 2 ways for the 19 inch image to have bee projected onto the 20 in ballot which would cause tabulator errors. Both methods require an administrator to change. This could not have happened by chance or error. It was fraud.”
The Lake War Room added context with video footage of the trial: “The Co-Elections Director for Maricopa County refuses to accept responsibility for the countywide failures on Election Day. Falsely asserts the people impacted by problems at voting centers could simply “go somewhere else.” It’s not that easy. But he knows that.”

So what? It’s not like the election will be reversed. Wish it would, but that’s just whistling Dixie.

Well if they hand counted them then there is no fraud per say.
However any process that is not auditable is on it’s face fraudulent. All election processes are not auditable therefore they are all on their face fraudulent.
Well, she should of sued before the election! Of course she would lack standing. Now that she sued after the election, the judge rules Laches applies! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Would auditability require elimination of secret ballot?
Or would a voting receipt help?
So the question is, what remedies are legally available for Ms. Lake? Can the Governor-elect be impeached for this? Are there enough votes in the House/Senate to accomplish this? If so, can there be a new election before the expiry of the term?
Does this mean anything other than the Demonrats cheated? Any consequences at all?
Machine punched stacks of ballots in the 2000 election and nothing was done. As a result each election cycle has gotten dirtier and dirtier. Nothing has been done to prosecute anyone, so it’s reached new levels of in your face fraud.
GOP counties need to throw in more votes than voters. And just say there is no legal controlling authority. The vote stands.
Its the use of 19 inch paper in place of 20 inch should be enough
A 19 inch ballot will not be counted. It has to be recreated on a 20 inch ballot. The question is: who’s doing the recreation and was there Republican oversight of each of those ballots?
I used to care about politics..a lot.
Now i just watch a circus side show. I feel there is no point at all anymore to get engaged.
Right there with you. I have nothing good to say about any politician these days.
correct. Present laws allow for punishment for election fraud but there are no do-overs.
i hope her trial exposes the corruption from top to bottom- the reason the left keeps blatantly cheating is because nothing is ever done about it- may that begin to change with her trial!
This was intentional to slow down the processing of voters in Repub areas.
The remedy is a new election. There’s precedent in Arizona for this.
But the standard should not be fraud. Simply showing there were enough “ bad” ballots to have affected the outcome should be enough.
It’s a mistake to let them raise the bar to show proof of fraud.
