The UK, the biggest supporter of Ukraine after the US is reconsidering its support for Ukraine. The same country which has given unwavering support to Ukraine till today is backing off from Ukraine. And, this step is being taken by Rishi Sunak. Let’s find out the crux of the move.
According to BBC Newsnight, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has requested a data-driven assessment of the war’s development in Ukraine.
Critics say that it makes little sense why is UK sending its military weapons to Ukraine when the war directly doesn’t concern it. According to information provided to BBC Newsnight, Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, is aware of the debate taking place in the UK and is urging Mr. Sunak to continue providing his nation with a robust military presence.

“It’s over.”
Been hearing that since Feb. And here we are
Bte mcgregor said the yuge russian 540k offensive was to begin no later than today...
Easy answer. Ukraine is NONE OF AMERICA’S BUSINESS.
It has no strategic value to the USA and is not a member of NATO.
Democracy? There is nothing democratic about Ukraine. Zelensky is a ruthless dictator who outlawed his opposition and jails his opponents. He shut down TV stations and print media disagreeing with him and has recently raided Orthodox churches he considers friends of Russians.
America has close friendships with many countries NOT DEMOCRACIES.
America’s involvement in Ukraine is tied to the country’s role as a massive money-laundering operation for corrupt American politicians. The people of Ukraine are dying by the tens of thousands and American leaders are making sure they do.
America should have stayed out of the Ukrainian mess and never funded any of the slaughter.
And so it begins. All to prop up Green Screen Zelensky.
He wants to waste it on something else ?
Fair enough and I can accept that. I agree with corruption part, would argue that the US is now a democracy in name only, where I disagree is that russias invasion is not our problem, we did nothing in Georgia Chechnya and the Crimea, not our problem. However I don’t believe Putin was going to stop at Ukraine and the it would be our problem
Appreciate the response
No one cares about the opinions of foreigners, especially when they support Biden
Yes. Note the U.S. House of Representatives just voted to REJECT a call to AUDIT the distribution of billions of dollars being sent to Ukraine.
The President of Nigeria recently announced weapons supposed to be going to Ukraine are in Africa and he has the proof.
The entire Ukrainian aid scam is nothing but a massive organized crime operation.
?
Putin is THE hard-liner….
While they can’t say it yet, what Europe is discovering is that the US is first-in-line to replace all the weapons we disposed of in Ukraine, and that Europe is next. The problem is that the US needs 3 to 6 years to build their weapons (since they’ll have to essentially start from scratch, due to neglect of the industry) and then only after the US had a decent supply, will Europe and other countries be allowed to start getting theirs.
But proposals from defense contractors are coming in now, and the timelines are a huge shock to the people in government, who spent most of their adult lives protesting the military, and so never had the time of day to listen to the warnings.
(speculation, but it is based on what I see in the non-military world - the US has ‘globalized’ much of its production and un-globalizing is NOT something that can be done overnight)
“And on Russia’s side, the hard liners will likely take out Putin. What follows will be worse.”
IMPOSSIBLE for anything to be worse than Putin as some guy in Canada told us all it would be peaches and roses once Putin was gone.
(dude obviously is obsessed with Putin and never bothered seeing what those around Putin are advocating)
so you’re saying Russia is just a cesspool full of monsters
thanks for reminding us what we’re fighting against
—> dude obviously is obsessed with Putin
Castreaux voter?
Putin is the moderate.
He has hardliners on his case to be more vicious and some advocating nukes.
Just watch..
As the year gets past the holidays, you’ll see what happens either way.
The USSR no longer exists. That monolithic global threat is gone. It has been replaced by an aggressive regional kleptocracy called Russia that is a regional threat to Western and Eastern Europe. A little tough love is in order. Basically, throw the adult child out of the basement and force the Europeans to defend themselves. Time to leave Europe to their own devices against a much smaller and poorer Russia who has put on display in Ukraine a military that is sorely lacking. China is the global and economic threat where we have a vital national security interest, and all of our attention should be directed to the Indo Pacific
—> What should have been the western response to the Russian invasion?
The west should not have lied to Putin about the Minsk accords, or continually pushed further toward Russia, shouldn’t have advocated ukraine get nukes, or join NATO, and the west could have resolved all that peacefully in international forums. They purposefully did not.
Putin is evil. So are the people pushing ukraine into this.
Each step of the pay, starting in 2014, the west has acted in a way that will likely produce WWIII, and a military alliance between China and Russia and Iran.
And the dethroning of the dollar as the reserve currency.
After the invasion, the west… if they had real leaders… should’ve immediately pushed for a ceasefire and resolved longstanding grievances that were never addressed. Instead, they pushed war.
“Castreaux voter?”
LOL.
Trite question assuming that the invasion just fell out of the clear blue sky. We pushed, created, funded, and nurtured this war. Then when it happened, people like you clutch their packs and act like you have no idea where it came from.
The actual answer would have been not to have spent a device decade I this war of convenience DC and the globalists wanted.
“ . We are the world’s greatest debtor nation.”
We literally have more debt than any entity ever, in all of human history. It’s truly horrifying if you think about it much. Be ready for hard times. When they speak about a soft landing, that means for them. It does not mean for the American people.
