Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the House select committee investigating January 6, 2021 could make ethics referrals for lawmakers who ignored congressional subpoenas.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “There’s talk of your committee referring to the house ethics committee some members of the House of Representatives who may have participated in the insurrection in some way and refused to comply with the investigation. Pennsylvania congressman Scott Perry comes to mind. He referred Jeffrey Clark, who is this obscure lawyer, part of this conspiracy to get him, Jeffrey Clark to become head of the Justice Department so he would weaponize the Justice Department. Is that, also, on the docket tomorrow, voting to refer for House ethics investigation your fellow members of Congress, some of them?”

Agenda for first day of Congress Jan 3rd:
1. Negate every conclusion of Jan 6 committee.
2. Appoint a committee to investigate the Jan 6 committee.
3. Issue subpoenas for every Jan 6 committee member.
4. Have them testify under oath.
5. Raid their homes at 6 a.m. with police force.
So if its about ethics....it’s not about a crime???
What police force you got to do that?
It should be illegal to use “Representative Adam Schiff” and “ethics” in the same sentence.

Same guy that did if he were subpoenaed in the next congress, that he’d have to confirm the validity of the subpoena? That guy?

I don’t have a police force.
Nothing will happen to Schiff in the subsequent congress except maybe he won’t have his committee seat, he’s supremely confident of this and probably with good reason.
The DoJ has already shown its political bias and even if there were a criminal referral on Schiff in the next Congress. Even in the unlikely event there was a trial, it would be in DC, which has itself been shown to have no problem letting dems off scott free from crimes.
One of Schiff’s major “weapons” in his disinformation campaign was his feeding information to the main stream media. Once he’s out of the intel committee he won’t be able to leverage access to classified information, but he has still built up and nurtured those contacts for years and he’s in a stupidly safe congressional seat so it’s entirely plausible that in a future congress he would end up with a good committee assignment again. The media won’t burn a source like that for no good reason.
In Jan when repubs take over THEY should start and investigation into Sammy. Make it JUST like the J6. Bring in the cameras and only choose Repubs to be on the committee. Ask questions you only want answers to. Do NOT get to the truth but only things anti dem. Subpoena all dems phone and social media records and e-mails. If they do not respond criminally charge them.
