A well-known Catholic priest and incendiary leader of the anti-abortion movement was removed from the priesthood by the Vatican, according to a letter from Pope Francis’s representative to the United States that was obtained by The New York Times.
Frank Pavone, who leads the advocacy organization Priests for Life, and was once a religious adviser to former President Donald J. Trump, was dismissed from the clergy on Nov. 9 with no possibility of appeal, the letter states. The letter included a statement about the removal, called laicization, that it said was approved by the Dicastery for the Clergy, a Vatican office.
“This action was taken after Father Pavone was found guilty in canonical proceedings of blasphemous communications on social media, and of persistent disobedience of the lawful instructions of his diocesan bishop,” it states.
The letter did not specify those communications or disobedience, or name the diocesan bishop. Mr. Pavone did not reply to a request for comment.
The punishment of a high-profile Catholic anti-abortion activist comes at a precarious moment for the movement as it plans its future after losses in the midterm election and struggles to unify Republicans around the issue. Mr. Pavone’s anti-abortion activism was not cited in the letter as the reason for his dismissal.

Leaving the a Catholic Church because of what men do, implies a belief that man, not Christ, is the reason for our Christian faith.
The Catholic hierarchy is communist.
It implies nothing other than the church is advocating or at the very least sanctioning sinful behavior. If I were to choose to remain a active member, I would be complicit in it’s furtherance.
I presently have the greatest personal relationship with the almighty than at any time in my life and I believe that has much to do with not compromising his word by acquiescing to fraudulent teachings.

I don't know quite what you mean. My "I remember when the Pope was catholic" was mostly a joke, but it's just that the current Pope is pro-pervert sex and I'm not sure about his position on abortion, etc.
After 60 years I am no longer a practicing Catholic. It’s these types of things that drove me away.

Just because someone leaves the Roman Catholic Church does not mean that they have left The Lord. Martin Luther left The Roman Catholic Church, did he leave The Lord, he would have said he did not leave Jesus Christ but that he got closer to the Lord than ever before. He would have said that the church left the holy doctrines expressed in the Holy Scriptures. I do not believe that God wants this nonsense going on in His church, it is time to leave Roman Catholicism. What would Paul say about all the “Butt Buddies” in the Roman Church today? What would Paul have to say about the abortions taking place and being encouraged by the priesthood? I cannot believe that The Roman Catholic Church is The Lords Church.
If The Roman Catholic Church was ever in fact The Lords Church then we must realize that the gates of Hell have prevailed against it.
The Pope has become the Devil’s handmaiden.
After the Rapture the Vatican, LDS and Islam will combine to become the One World Religion worshiping the AntiChrist.
