It’s a brain-washing gimmick. Once you start breaking down a 18 or 19 year old kid....you can convince a large portion of various things. In a year or two...the kid will need mental help...talking over their confusion and how they were used.
It's nothing new. I went to school with kids who regularly answered intrusive surveys with the most off-the-wall stuff they could think of.
College kids today are too dumb to realize they are looking for a lifetime partner in the WRONG places.
Being bi and gender fluid is “in.” Almost as annoying as many of the college kids in my area who voluntarily wear (cheap disposable worthless) surgical masks to show they “care” about respiratory disease I guess.
Everybody is gay, some just don’t realize it yet.
In Army basic training a guy in our platoon decided his enlistment was a mistake and announced that he was gay.
In those days they still kicked them out.
Anyway, several of the drill sgts took him into the Senior drill sgt’s office and told him to prove it.
He graduated with the rest of us.
The guy that started limping in the second week finally got his discharge and was immediately cured.
He was walking to his cab when a drill leaned out the window and yelled “Hey you forgot limp”, he grinned and limped off on the other foot.
Aren’t 60%+ of liberal arts degrees going to women? Aren’t women generally more likely to be physically close to other females? So really, this sudden surge in LGBTQ is coming largely from young white liberal women. As the article notes, they may feel attraction to other women, but few actually act on it. It’s just a fad, a way to feel part of the in crowd, not truly a “gender identity”.

1. Just what kind of job opportunities exist for LGBTQT+ liberal arts majors after graduation? They are going to seek their own kind. And you wonder why the schools are full of weirdos?
2. As the article indicates, the liberal arts college environment is a self-reinforcing echo chamber.
3. Claiming to be something other than a dreaded CIS Heteronormative White Male could possibly be interpreted as a survival move. Of course, this doesn’t apply to CIS Heteronormative Women (human adult females) or Lesbians, who are just labeled as transphobes or TERFs. Besides, they are not really “women.” Come to think of it, what is a woman?

Sometimes bisexual, or questioning, or asexual, or nonbinary are responses given by young people who aren’t sure what they are, or don’t want to give a definitive answer. Students who would have assumed that they were heterosexual in previous generations don’t assume that anymore.
Smith College isn’t exactly representative either. Wellesley is a bit more of a surprise, but not that much.

Abnormal people are celebrated, worshiped, given cash payments, raised to positions of power and exempted from all responsibility for their actions. So there are more of them.
The abnormal people have been artificially grouped into a phony group: LGBTXYZetc. The name of the group should be “Abnormal people, or those who claim to be.” The more people who join the group, the more power the group has.
Currently, LGBTXYZetc is at the top of the ruling hierarchy, and are our new masters. You have no right to criticize them. They rule over you.
