What a smoldering mess. Why would a city engage in cash payouts?
Who would want to live and pay taxes in a city run this way?
To: The_Media_never_lie
“Vice Mayor Gwen Wisler suggested that some of the funds be provided to the Asheville City Schools Foundation for scholarships only for ‘black and brown’ students. (These funds were later restricted to only ‘black’ students and became the subject of a federal civil rights lawsuit until the city agreed to not discriminate on the basis of race against students).”

Asheville has been subverted by coastal tapeworms.

Why the “cash payouts” from the city? Are they giving out suitcases of cash? What are the denominations of the payouts?
To: The_Media_never_lie
“Cash payouts”. Is the Vice Mayor paying herself?
To: thegagline
I have to wonder how many white kids got scholarships after the city agreed not to violate the law? (I assume the Civil Rights Act of 1964 has not been repealed.)

Yes, “Sheneika” has a certain ring to it, doesn’t it? I’m surprised she kept the “Smith” surname, though. I guess she’s only down for the struggle to steal money.

I had to read 1/3 down the article to discover that the town was in the Carolinas.

Sorry, I thought there was only one Asheville. You must live far away from that city.

I had to read 1/3 down the article to discover that the town was in the Carolinas. And in the Great Smokey Mountains and home of Bilmore, the Vanderbilt summer mansion too.
20 years ago, I first visited and saw then that liberal academics, femnists and artist types were moving in and taking over what once had been a sleepy, but beautiful town. I can only imagine what it is today.

Who would want to live and pay taxes in a city run this way?Have you been to Asheville lately? Neither have I - and I live close nearby.
The place has become even a worse Liberal dump since BLM lovers defunded the police department. It used to be a great place to visit and hang out but then so was San Fransicko.

I was there last week for the memorial service for a dear friend. I love Asheville, but can never live their because the majority of people there, due to white guilt or whatever, vote for fools who steal from them, and who are not wise with other people's money. I have been going there since the 70s. It is a cool place.

It is a cool place.
Also true. But it has been going downhill for years because of the radical leftists.
These people could turn Heaven into a dung heap if God would let them in.
