I nominate The Mule as Prince of Our Democracy, for Person of the year in 2022.
The Mule can legally vote 100 times or 200 times more than you or I can vote. He or she can show up at a voting facility or a drop box with that many ballots, and legally deposit that many votes. You or I, the commoner citizen only get one vote.
How can this be happening?
Maybe the Mule is on good terms with nursing home operators. Mules have been know to collect votes there, where in one state 92 nursing homes had 100% voting, where the national average is 55% of citizens voting. It is possible the mule knows, or thinks he/she knows how those people would vote, were they able, and is just doing them a service. Mules however, are not stupid; they are not going to transport votes for candidates they don't support, or are not paid to support.
It is possible the Mule is well educated in canvassing and collecting votes from people who would not normally vote. It takes money and organization to run this type of vote collection operation. Perhaps the Mule is an employee or beneficiary of this operation. Could that be why the Mule often takes a selfie while stuffing ballots into the drop box?
Perhaps the Mule has access to some of the millions of mailed ballots that are undeliverable, from inside the US Post Office. Perhaps some ballots are scavenged after delivery, before the are in the hands of the intended recepients.
For the forseeable future, the Mule is the new Prince of Our Democracy. The Mule can gets to legally vote 100-200 or more times than we the common citizen get to vote. We only get to vote once as a citizen of the US, and maybe not even once if you live in the state of Arizona where they have printer/voting machine problems. The sooner we acknowledge this fact, the better.
Who can deny this truth?
