Over the weekend, New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s new climate change documentary hit theaters and was unsurprisingly met with abysmal ratings, earning only $80 per theater.
AOC’s film “To the End” was filmed over four years and followed four women, Cortez, climate policy writer Rhiana Gunn-Wright, political strategist Alexandra Rojas, and climate activist Varshini Prakash, as they try to pass significant climate change legislation in Congress.
Professional critics and left-wing media praised the film, giving it an 88% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes. A New York Times review said, “Representative Ocasio-Cortez offers the best onscreen antidote to despair – she’s funny, a canny political strategy.”
Despite the liberals’ attempts at generating praise for the documentary, the film still flopped in theaters, debuting at 120 locations and earning less than $10,000.

Fox’s “The Five” co-host Greg Gutfeld bashed the documentary, saying, “Who would go see a movie that’s the opposite of entertaining? There’s nothing entertaining about that… But it does show you how great it is to be a progressive in a liberal, biased culture.”
“She really doesn’t do her job, right?” Gutfeld pointed out. “She makes movies, she goes to galas. She sits for glossy, butt-kissing interviews in GQ and other women’s mags… Once you get over the fact that you’re hollow inside, it’s not a bad life.”
Co-host Jesse Watters chimed in, pointing out that AOC may be popular in the world of politics, but she doesn’t hold the same fame in the ‘real world’ as she might have thought.
“This is what politicians often get confused about: Just because you’re popular in politics doesn’t mean you’re popular anywhere else. In fact, usually, people that can’t do anything anywhere else go into politics to succeed. And she found that out the hard way,” Watters said.
Many others noticed the gap between AOC’s political popularity and how much people actually responded to the film. Dinesh D’Souza, a conservative author and filmmaker, echoed Watters’ observation, saying,
“How is it possible that AOC with 13 million followers and adoring media hype couldn’t sell more than 8 tickets per theater for a film about a problem she says is an existential threat to humanity? Could it be that deep down everyone knows she and her subject are pure b*llsh*t?”
Watters also called out a scene in the movie where AOC is shown hiking the Appalachian Trail as being ‘fraudulent,’ insisting that the politician is not actually an outdoor enthusiast like she portrays herself in the documentary.
AOC “hiking” the Appalachian Trail in her documentary ‘To the End’ “I have never seen [that],” Watters insisted. “And she showcases her whole life on social media – you can never see her in private. Everything is on social media. I’ve never seen her hike before, but the one time she does a documentary about the environment, she’s out there doing the Appalachian Trail. I’m not buying it.”
To this day still never got a piece of legislation passed.....that tells me all I need to know.
You mean to say that the Liberals did not show up in big numbers to go see her movie? Maybe they are waiting it for to come on a basic cable TV channel?
.
Focusing on Climate Change is idol worship, and there have been far too many temples built to the climate gods (Gaia).
Our politicians have become our royalty and we work for them. Bizarro world.

And at one Gala she went to, she wore a dress which had the slogan “ Tax The Rich “ embroidered on it.
I have wondered what the deal was with that dress. I’ve also wondered what the carbon footprint of these events she attends are.
LOL.
The ticket given to her cost $40,000 and she never declared it on her gift received form.
Should have been titled.
