How do "prominent attorneys" get access to government documentation containing private personal information without participation of the government?

It is theoretically possible that attorneys are probing Musk's citizenship, so Newsweek cannot rule the claim as definitively false. But we have so far seen no evidence to back this claim up, therefore it is unverified and should be treated with skepticism.
If they actually could prove he lied, that would just make him one of them.
Wonder if they will find he married a relative to get into the country.

You know what I find interesting? Federal judges, local judges, cops, DA's, prosecutors, presidents, congress, senate et al, are not required to submit for random drug tests.
Yet the guy pushing shopping around the parking lot at Home Depot is subject to random drug tests. I find this extremely odd.
It is. The “Attorneys” are only one, a comedian and Democrat operative named Dean Obeidallah who at one time had been a practicing VERY liberal lawyer—he once referred to Tucker Carlson as “Tucker Klansman”— said on a radio program he was going to file a FOI request for Musk’s citizenship application and investigate it for any falsehoods, and opined if he found anything, he could file to have Elon’s citizenship stripped from him. It does not work that way. The falsehood has to be for such things as the Applicant participating in heinous war crimes or other things of similar levels of behavior. Musk was a bit more than 25 years old at the time he applied for US Citizenship.
Dean Obeidallah states he did in fact file a FOI request but due to the law providing applicant privacy, the applicant, in this case, Elon Musk, must grant permission to release that application, and Musk naturally declined to allow it.
Now Obeidallah is asking “What is Musk hiding in his citizenship application?”
Yeah, I thought lefties got all warm and moist about illegals?!

As another person pointed out, they roll out the red carpet for millions of illegals, giving them prizes and gifts, then turn around and go after Musk, the guy who’s PRO FREE SPEECH.
Very evil people with bad intentions behind all this.

“Prominent attorneys are investigating whether Hunter Biden lied on his firearms purchase application form 4473. If it shows that he lied anywhere on the application, its likely he could be jailed for up to ten years”.

It is the mockingbird media at its best. Every single leftist “journalist” and their followers are tweeting this as if it is breaking news that they themselves have uncovered.
“Prominent attorneys” can pretend to “investigate” all types of stuff. They do this to promote a narrative. Much like the “walls are closing in” and “Bombshell news” tweets they did for four plus years. This has Marc Elias and Ron Klain’s fingerprints all over it. It’s noise to take the focus off what Elon Musk, Matt Tabbi and Bari Weiss have been releasing. Ignore it.
Don’t get me wrong. I am a fan of Musk, what he has done and can do. But in areas outside of the 1st Amendment, he is all over the map.
But his stance on Freedom of Speech, which is under concerted attack, is fully appreciated by me. Plus, he makes Leftists eye-bugging, spittle-lipped insects.
I like that.
