One of the main reasons for the current low uptake of the COVID mRNA bivalent booster (less than 43 million doses administered) is the scary anecdotes of side effects overreported in the media.
These stories are not effectively countered by presenting unexciting low-risk data, or the equally boring but true knowledge that the more immunity you have the better off you are against COVID’s short- or long-term side effects. You will likely get less sick and you will recover more quickly and completely.
But fear of a rare side effect overcomes reasoned reassurance every time.
There is also some evidence that the mRNA vaccines still decrease viral load and therefore slow spread at least short term, but of course, no one is megaphoning this important data. Perhaps the whole idea of countering emotion with logic is destined to fail because emotion is a far more powerful response deep in the human brain. Perhaps the emotional narrative of teens rarely developing myocarditis from the jab (latest Israel data of 4.8 cases per 100,000 persons) can only be countered by the far the more common devastating stories of heart or lung or brain problems from the virus itself.
In my practice, I have certainly seen many cases of the latter and none of the former.

Yes…
Yes, that’s a good point.
Yeah, isn’t it though…
Was just in the hospital yesterday. You can cut the tension over CoVID with a knife. I was careful only to discuss with 1 other person in room as a result. One nurse was not aware of 3’ clots coming out of autopsies. I suggested she just search on covid autopsy clots.
Stop to think about that. If she was putting in a drip line and noticed unusual material or much darker blood leak, she would probably dismiss it. And that’s my experience in triage yesterday.
Sounds like Dr Siegel is on the payroll or Pfizer or Moderna or both
That is, it is clear that people can just as easily catch, spread and get sick from the Fauci Flu being "vaccinated" as they can from not being "vaccinated."
This just doesn't make sense to me.
One of the traits of a good con artist is being a smooth talker and can come across as being believable. He played that part.
Siegel blew his cover on this one.
Wore his mask upside down. Either he was secretly sending a message to those with the decoder, he is really really stupid or a combination there of.
There must have been a
need for it that justified it being approved for use.

Fauchi has a financial interest in it via patent rights.
Everyone is now aware that the pharmaceutical companies call the shots. They pay millions for FDA *approval*. There is a revolving door between pharma and FDA reviewers. They control the top medical journals. Anyone who wants their study favorably peer-reviewed knows that the peer reviewers are paid/chosen by the pharmaceutical companies. Fauchi controls large research grants.
Argument by virtue of authority is rendered moot when said authority is known to be compromised.
We all have been *taught* to “trust the experts”. Once upon a time, there may have been justification for that belief. Unfortunately, today the majority of our professions, institutions, laws, processes are corrupted.
Oh, and I know someone with a medical degree who received Remdesivir short term, no vent, and survived. I think the damage stats are something like bad outcomes for 20% of recipients. I would still not accept it for myself or anyone I cared about. Kidneys are not a simple excretory organ, they are involved in hormonal and other metabolic pathways that effect the heart and other organs/processes. Everyone needs to understand the risks and make their own decisions. One size fits all *protocols* are dangerous. Hospitals receive kickback incentives for using Remdesivir, so incorporating it into standard orders is suspect.
Inflammation of the *heart sack* (pericardium) is called pericarditis.
...heard a black woman, in December, 2019, telling some other woman that “we” (meaning black people) don’t get Covid-19.

Contrast with the media telling everyone that POC are at higher risk.
In 2021, admission protocols in my state gave extra points for patient being POC.
Myocarditis can be sub-clinical, that is, without overt symptoms. The damage is still there and the heart does not repair itself.
...the Swine Flu vax was pulled in ‘77 after causing fewer than three dozen reported deaths and around 500 reported injuries.

Grew up with someone who had Gullian-Barre after the Swine flu vax. STILL uses a cane.
Supported the Covid vax.
Marc Siegel is on the radio and, I think Hannity, here in the NYC area. IIRC, he’s usually pretty rational. I think he was against masks or home schooling for kids. Surprised to see this article.
He was “ok” & seemed reasonable until C-19 .... but then so were a lot of other docs.
Yeah then it did a complete 180 degree turn
I always wondered about that woman
The true threat, is that Freeptards are pimping the vaccines as a distraction to draw attention away from China committing a global Act of War by intentionally releasing their designer bioweapon.
Right, so that means that all of the mainstream figures on myocarditis as an adverse effect of the vaccine are meaningless, because the asymptomatic myocarditis victims are never tested for it.
The general course of therapy for Remdesivir may be less than
the time it takes to develop renal failure.
That 20.00% number looked way cooked to me. Sure if you
stayed on the med for a long period of time, you’d run into
problems if pharmacists were not monitoring sufficiently.
This guy looked to be trying to trash the medication big-
time.
Every anti-biotic or anti-viral is needed as medication
resistant staff and other diseases push the limits of
what we have to respond with.
Trashing a medication like this unfairly, is nearly as bad
as putting something out there we knew was a problem to
begin with.
Thanks. I’d be surprised if I didn’t come down with that for
a period of time.
