Longtime Fox News host Mark Levin has been facing heat for supporting Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) in his Speaker run after criticizing the California rep for years.
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Az.) called Levin “the biggest fraud in politics right now.”
“For years, this guy castigated McCarthy publicly (with no shame). Now, he is all in for him and wants his audience to turn a blind eye,” Biggs posted to Twitter.
Biggs tweeted a graphic that described Levin as a “Total Fraud & Flip Flopper” and listed out tweets Levin made over the past 8 years criticizing and attacking McCarthy’s role in the swamp.
Levin’s tweets described McCarthy as a “RINO dimwit” who is “bought and paid for.”
In 2014 Levin described it “disastrous” for the GOP to support McCarthy as a majority leader. These comments lead many to question what made Levin change his commentary surrounding Kevin McCarthy.
Levin blew up on Republicans like Reps. Andy Biggs (R-Az), Bob Good (R-Va.), Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), Ralph Norman (R-SC), and Matt Rosendale (R-MT) for pushing back on McCarthy.
Levin called the America First advocates a bunch of “boneheads,” asking “how can they be so stupid?”

The acid test for me is - will they utter the words “stolen 2020 election”?
Nobody on Fox will say it - Tucker comes very, very close - and has defended January 6 protesters - so I’ll give him a pass. Hannity and Levin will not say the words.
“McCarthy won the caucus vote 188-31. Levin recognizes what that means as a practical matter.”
It means that 188<218. The Dems are not going to vote for McCarthy.
Levin is a clownish grifter high on helium.
McCarthy should be opposed until the last second to force maximum leverage. He has no principles and only responds to force.
I quit listening to Levine (misspelling deliberate) when he was a rabid Never-Trumper in 2016.
But isn’t Levin supporting the candidate for speaker that Trump has endorsed?
Levin is a wind sock.
For supporting Trump’s pick for speaker?
“McCarthy won the caucus vote 188-31. Levin recognizes what that means as a practical matter.”
It means that 188<218. The Dems are not going to vote for McCarthy.
Yes, and Levin’s point is the democrats will walk in lockstep with their 212 votes and just have to reel off 6 RINOS to have a rat speaker in a republican majority house.
I worry we’ll end up with Liz Cheney as speaker.
It also means the Republicans aren't going to vote for anyone else. And even if they somehow do, the rest of the caucus will deeply resent the hell out of being blackmailed by a small minority. So once the new Speaker is elected - at best someone like Scalise who is no better and perhaps worse than McCarthy - the holdouts will have spent their bargaining chip. And the. The rest of the caucus will take it out on them for the next two years.
That's best case. Worst case is that some actual RINOs get sick of the infighting and defect to the Democrats for the Speakership vote.
Who cares? Mark Levine is dead to me.
I can’t argue with that.
