A string of attacks on power facilities in Oregon and Washington has caused alarm and highlighted the vulnerabilities of the US electric grid.
The attacks in the Pacific north-west come just days after a similar assault on North Carolina power stations that cut electricity to 40,000 people.
As first reported by Oregon Public Broadcasting and KUOW Public Radio, there have been at least six attacks, some of which involved firearms and caused residents to lose power. Two of the attacks shared similarities with the incident in Moore county, North Carolina, where two stations were hit by gunfire. Authorities have not yet revealed a motive for the North Carolina attack.
The four Pacific north-west utilities whose equipment was attacked have said they are cooperating with the FBI. The agency has not yet confirmed if it is investigating the incidents.

I live in Moore Country. It was a BITCH.
Yesterday, in a store I was in, there was a lady going on in a stage whisper about “these awful ex-military guys around here, runnin’ around with their guns, thinkin’ they’re still in the damn army...” And so forth.
I set her straight — surprised I didn’t get arrested for talking too loud in a supermarket... I’m sure she thinks I’m one...
It’s kind of strange that the reports of these attacks first aired on public radio and TV.
A perpetual State of Fear must be maintained.
The article said that taking out only 9 substations could take out the entire grid, that’s a scary thought. I hope the authorities are at least keeping a close eye on them.

Good for you! Nothing worse than some female lib loon running her mouth. Their sense of entitlement to vomit their emotions on everyone is extreme. These deserve ridicule and confrontation.
Hard to say but it could be the left or the right. So all the events have bits that hit both. If it’s the left, we know they are good at pointing out that the right are the ones with guns and are against the “green” power, so it’s a false flag.
If it’s the right taking down power, they would be trying to show the left what life without power feels like. Will be interesting to find out who is to blame. I put my money on the left.

Because we now know that there is nothing the left won’t stoop to to gain and keep power and control over the masses and to get more money.

They don't see the riots of 2020, where scores of innocents were murdered, thousands assaulted, billions in property damage, assaults and death threats against Trump supporters, attacks on homes, such as Tucker Carlson's, assaults against Republican congressmen; Rand Paul, Steve Scalise, assassination attempts against Conservative justices as sowing chaos and promoting violence?
Except for a sprinkling of off-gridders, we are completely dependent on networked energy and data.
If you wonder what the typical personal experience of the end-of-this-world will be like, it may well be this:
One ordinary day at no particular time, the power goes off, cellular service and Internet both vanish.
Most vehicles won’t start because their PCM is fried.
The interstates and many urban roads are blocked with dead vehicles.
Gas pumps won’t work.
The entire country is blanketed with full spectrum jamming from nuclear-powered satellites, meaning not even HAM operators can connect over distance.
There is no information available, there is no one coming to help or advise.
All utilities are down, nothing is moving, cities become death camps.
Most people die without ever finding out why.
That is the end of the world.
I forgot mention every plane in the air either crashes or crash-lands.
A few quick thoughts…
In this scenario (I’ll limit to the USA), 10-20% of the population is dead inside of 14 days . Those critically dependent on powered med equipment and/or meds to live. The initial (14 day time period still) pandemonium and associated violence get you to the rest of the my hypothesized %. The initial lack of water will be highly contributory to the violence, and the time of year is very important too in determining initial losses due to weather and other factors. Cities and parts of the ‘burbs will burn very quickly and become totally uninhabitable at the outset.
Bugging in won’t be plausible for ~60% of the population and you’ll have an initial 150mm+ wandering around with massive death occurring due to starvation, infection, medical emergencies, violence and suicide.
Dammit… I could go on and on, I’m getting called to dinner. The irony 😂😂
The really strange part is that I am told only one leg of the power circuit goes over the lines.
The other is the pacific ocean.
