This. Until this is fixed, elections will continue to be won by the America-hating left (emphasis mine):

"What was absent from the Democrat playbook in Florida were mail-in ballots, drop boxes, ballot harvesting, and same-day registration that Democrats accelerated during the COVID-19 scare in 2020. The dirty little secret is that the results in Florida would almost certainly be delivered in other states, too, if those states had gotten rid of those practices that destroy election integrity. The contrast between Florida and Democrat-run states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York, and Minnesota is stark regarding how elections were run."

Interesting, so it’s not only The Conservative Treehouse is beginning to see the obvious.

And by obvious, I’m not even talking about DeSantis. I’m talking about all the folks he seems to have in his corner and throwing money at him.

I’m betting that if Pres Trump bowed out today and then held a press conference with DeSantis, where they told the world that the DeSantis campaign would MAGA on steroids, the money would dry up so fast it’d make your head spin.

Donald Trump went to war against the GOP. He lost.

If there is any hope at all for conservatism in America, Ron DeSantis must be the one to bring about change in the Republican party. I know, many here at FR say that DeSantis is just another Harvard educated GOP stooge who will fit right in with the swamp rats in DC.

I don’t believe that but if true, what are our other choices?

Why continue voting r or d? Just take care of your family, friends and self. This idea that things will get fixed by voting gopher is a bunk. They simply don’t care about you or America. America has been sliding for decades, the chance to fix it has long since past. The gop was part of that destruction, they are not part of the solution.

Right now the jury is out on DeSantis. The fact the GOPE/RNC is all ga-ga over him sets off a red alert for me immediately. The GOPE/RNC people hate their base, they are liars and leftist so why would they support a conservative?

Will see how this plays out. Aside from Trump he’s the only one out there I might consider wasting my time to vote for in 24. I hate to say that about wasting time and voting but the jig is up, it doesn’t mean a thing anymore. You can’t outvote the dead and the non-existent.

I am quite warm to deSantis. He looks like he may have a lot to offer. But unless Trump makes any more serious mistakes with his dinner invitations, deSantis will be wise to let trump declare a different residency state and then run as his veep

“””What was absent from the Democrat playbook in Florida were mail-in ballots, drop boxes, ballot harvesting, and same-day registration that Democrats accelerated during the COVID-19 scare in 2020.”””

Epoch needs to research the facts before pontificating.

Florida has mail-in ballots and I recall mail-in ballots accounted for about 1/3rd of the votes cast on Nov 8.

Now, unlike other states Florida does not send a ballot to everyone on the voter registration rolls.

He is, and there probably aren’t any. But yes, he’s Bush without the speech impediment. She me where he will depart from the neocon agenda. He’s all in for Ukraine, Syria, you name it.

I don’t know why anyone would think DeSantis is the answer.

Relatively speaking, the guy is flat broke … which means he will do whatever he’s told if he wants to have a career in public office.

I can see the spineless GOP Governors in 30 states being ‘all-in’ for a DeSantis Presidential run in 2024.

DeSantis is embarrassing these spineless GOP Governors in 30 states by being a common-sense and conservative Governor.

So true!!! He is a beholden puppet allowing his strings to be pulled by the Uniparty GOPe power brokers.

DeSantis actually owes his current office to PDJT but has already and continues to betray President Trump by endorsing that NeverTrumper Colorado senate candidate and now planning to meet with donors ahead of his second inauguration in FL.

President Trump is thee leader of we the people and only cares about doing what’s right for his country.

DeSanctimonious is basically another career politician who’ll kowtow to whomever he has to in order to advance himself.

And I don’t know why anyone would think that a man who has Hitler loving holocaust denier guests for dinner would be the answer.

Don’t get me wrong. Trump is my first choice. But he and his mouth will eventually relegate his chances to slim and none.

Especially Kemp here in GA. IMO, Kemp et al, have a lot to be fearful of with a DJT admin sitting in the WH.

Trump is running in '24. Desantis will get crushed if he tries to go against Trump.

I predict that you will be voting for Trump in Nov. ‘24.

Get used to the idea.

Where else are you going to go?

At least we’re not nominating perverts who shower with their nine year old daughters and raise sons who sell out to China and are drug addicted whore-mongers... “Oh, here’s a little 6 year old girl - can I run over and sniff her?”

So, you only want rich people to run for office? Is that what you're saying here?

Trump has come to a rare place in American political history... à la Andy Jackson and TR ...DeSantis may be getting there if he can avoid the Uniparty vortex he is unwisely sailing around... Whatever, no conservative will win the presidency unless he/she leads the charge to stop fraud, repair broken party election strategy/tactics and inspire a hostile demographic to think right.

Trump has earned a chance to go down in history as a great conservative populist. But time is short, and he can't waste time on complaints and petty imbroglios. He needs a proven brain trust around him to provide recommendations to fight fraud with surgical precision, to strengthen election strategy and to inspire/challenge youthful voters to think about their futures. If DeSantis or any other candidate could manage this, I would back them.
