They’re desperate to hide it all. Congress is not the sovereign.

The fact that Congress is hiding potentially exculpatory evidence should weigh heavily on all Jan 6 prosecutions.

No wonder they have a border fence around themselves. They continue to defy human decency and we are all on their list.

Sovereign Immunity doesn’t protect the dem party from treason accusations...After all, waging war against your native country by helping the abortion movement slaughter blacks and poor Americans with a genocidal agenda would be considered treasonous, right????

Maybe some emails could have some info that may need to be redacted, like security codes or info on keys/key card and locks, but no reason to hide any video.

Sovereignty is essentially the power to make laws, even as Blackstone defined it. The term also carries implications of autonomy; to have sovereign power is to be beyond the power of others to interfere.

Beyond lawmaking power, two other (often contentious) aspects of sovereignty are eminent domain (the right of the sovereign to take private property for public use) and sovereign immunity(which offers the sovereign protection from lawsuits).

Well since the President signs a bill into Law, then the President has sovereign power, correct President Trump.

What a surprise... /s

”In your face” is our communist masters' favorite tool to rattle the chains of tyranny that they have wrapped around our necks...

No Big Deal!
Our communist masters know that the pathetically servile and indolent Aamerican people will just continue to roll over and spread their collective cheeks...

I’m fairly certain that’s not how the checks-and-balances system written into the Constitution works.

Simple. After the new Congress is sworn in its Speaker refiles an amendment/retraction to the sovereignty claim.

Sovereign immunity? Pelosi is now the sovereign? I thought we got rid of sovereigns in 1789. It doesn’t surprise me that elitist Democrats who want to rule over us consider themselves “sovereign”.

So they can prosecute and hide evidence of innocence?

That’s absurd.

Probably be upheld, given how corrupt the courts are.

But absurd.
