How Debt Policies Are Provoking an Unavoidable Crash: We are running out of viable options
American Thinker ^ | 12/07/2022 | John Horvat II

The big problem with debt is that it is addictive. Once a person starts down this ramp, it is hard to stop before insolvency. Addictions give way to irrational action. Sometimes the only way to stop is to crash into something hard.

The debt problem is compounded exponentially when the addict is not an individual but a government. It is so much easier to spend someone else’s money and borrow more when it runs out.

Governments trying to be all things to all people soon find themselves funding expensive projects that never seem to die or end. As governments barrel down the irrational road of debt, they must also crash into something, although in a much more spectacular way.

No one likes to talk about the eventuality of these crashes. Instead, the addicted debtor is always obsessed with postponing the day of reckoning. The higher the debt, the more desperate become the measures to kick the can down the road.

Thus, America faces a debt crisis that is running out of options. The facts are evident. It is not a complicated scenario. There is no need to be a conspiracy theorist or alarmist to point out the signs. The crisis consists of massive debt and irrational official policies coming together to increase the speed and likelihood of a crash.

It is not easy to destroy a modern economy because it is a complex, interconnected system with many safeguards to deal with crises. A robust economy can deal with some debt crises involving large amounts of money. Indeed, this has been the case in America for decades. Financial wizards work their magic to mitigate the absurdity of living beyond one’s means.

America is aided by the fact that the rest of the world always wanted to buy its debt (seeing it as more creditworthy), allowing the nation to live with a false sense of security.

Thus, the global financial system can absorb the normal headwinds that disrupt the world economy. However, solutions increasingly patched up crises with ever more debt.

Electoons have consequences and the ignorant and greedy in this country have really ****ed up America’s future with their choices in the last two electoons. America is going under and it’s the idiots’ fault.

Contrary to conventional wisdom and popular culture, high taxes are much more devastating than high debt.

High debt is cause by one thing and one thing only: HIGH GOVERNMENT SPENDING ALMOST ALL OF WHICH ARE IN SUPPOERT OF UNCONSTITUTIONAL ACTS AND AGENCIES.

CUTTING GOVERNMENT by 80%+ plus should be our FIRST PRIORITY.

On the other side - governments across the entire Western world have been living on debt and printed money for decades. Moreover, we still have the world’s largest reserve currency, our own energy supplies (mostly), and its impossible that a foreign military power could threaten our borders.

The invasion of illegals across the southern border are diluting our culture and will be slaves to the chamber of commerce corporations and leftist government. You won’t recognize the country when its done - but the empire’s population is still growing.

In a world of competing blocs/empires, the US Empire will outlast others.

People who personally or collectively who live off debt truly deserve their just deserts. In the 1930s people were tough enough to survive a severe economic challenge. Very doubtful that most modern day Americans have the grit to survive or cope with such a crisis.

I can't be broke either. The educated millennials know I poop enough money to pay off their indoctrination loans, fund an unwinnable war in Ukraine, abort the Modern Warm Period, and pay for their appendadicontomes and chopadicoffames. (typed in my best El Rushbo voice).

Well, America is helped by the fact that every other major economy is in debt up to its eyeballs as well. China is worst, Japan is even worse than we are, Britain is very bad, France is a joke. Germany looks good in comparison until you realize the Germans are on the hook for the rest of Europe's debts via the Euro.

The only medium sized country I can think of that actually looks good and has control of its own currency is Poland.

What if this is intentional? Economic upheaval is prime territory for Communists to take power. Also, if the US Dollar is destroyed, what will be created to replace it? Why the Digital Programmable Dollar, of course.

Yes, most Senators are incompetent. Yes Biden has no clue what day it is. Problem is, these idiots are just front men.

I am of the opinion that everything going on from permanently rigged elections, massive debt which will permanently cripple the economy is all intentional and planned.

How else to force people into dense tiny rented space in urban centers with no cars, accept no freedom, and become docile (due to constant electronic monitoring) while at the same time depopulating the world?

They ramp this same crap up every time, no different than the last 100. Nobody is going to default on debt, least of all the GOPE and the Chamber Of Commerce types. Just a bullsh!t bargaining chip, everyone knows it. We’ve been living on fiat money for decades and will for decades more.

What is inevitable is that the debt (in toto) cannot be paid and will therefore be repudiated.

All structures associated with “buy now, pay later” (which has never been normal, throughout history) will be swept away.

And the usurers who invented this satanic system had better have their bags packed.

To refer to their system of slavery as “the economy” is an obscenity.

“Country going bankrupt” and “social, security going bankrupt” so,whatdo, liberals do? Why they tell minorities “here’s trillions of dollars in reparations for you all” despite the fsct that our country already paid reparations by sending 600 000 folks to their deaths to help free the slaves, and “let’s give money to criminals so they don’t commit crimes anymore” and “no penalties for thefts under $1000” and “here ya go blm, here’s a bunch of money for,you for getting hurt during the riots”, etc etc etc

“high taxes are much more devastating than high debt”

Debt is just a tax on the future generation, so they’re both equally devastating, the debt is just not devastating to YOU, right now.

Too many of the Elites are getting filthy rich off the out-of-control spending. This won’t change.

Elections my ass. It doesn’t matter who is eleceted, they always spend like crazy. Yet people will chant, rally and go vote for the same crap. There is no going back. Gen x, y, z etc are the biggest bag holders in the history of the world. The older generations don’t care, they will ride out to the sun and leave this mess behind.
