As I, an outsider, understand it, Arizona, or at least Maricopa County, has ‘voting centers’ where people vote, rather than have them vote at their local precinct. This means that each voting center has to print out a ballot based on the voters’ actual precinct. If significant number of printers fail, voters have to wait to get their proper ballot printed. Apparently lots of printers failed and people had to either wait to get a ballot printed, or go to another voting center, or just give up and go home.

I know that Hobbs considers it a ‘successful election’, after all she ‘won’ her race. But the failures did exist and in such numbers that there is no way that a ‘successful election’ was carried out under her watch. She should at least have the decency to admit this.
