Former Vice President Mike Pence on Monday pushed back on former President Trump’s assertion that the Constitution should be disregarded to allow for him to return to the White House in the wake of new revelations about Twitter’s handling of a controversial story about Hunter Biden.
“I must tell you that I think that everyone that serves in public office, everyone that aspires to serve or serve again should make it clear that we will support and defend the Constitution of the United States,” Pence said on WVOC radio in Columbia, S.C., ahead of a visit to the state on Tuesday.
The former vice president, who has said he is contemplating a 2024 presidential bid, noted that every federal official takes an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution.
Pence added that he believes he upheld his oath to defend the Constitution throughout his four years as Trump’s vice president, particularly in the final weeks of his term as Trump pressured him to reject the 2020 election results.

Trump picked him for VP because he was friends with Paul RINO, and Trump was banking on the fact that this would help Trump get legislation through the House. Instead, Paul RINO and his butt buddy Pence colluded against Trump.

The only thing that makes sense (and would make his statement correct in the technical sense) would be that there is no way within the four corners of the constitution to remove Biden and replace him with Trump.

You greatly overestimate what American’s today will do. How many cities had their business core destroyed in 2020 with the active assistance of the city government and police. How much pushback was there. One guy, Kyle Rittenhouse. How much support from ‘conservatives’ was there? He is still treated like a pariah by much of the so called conservative movement. Donald Trump could be assassination and aside from some sporadic demonstrations there would be absolutely no real pushback. It will have to get bad enough to really effect daily life to wake at least some Americans up and to begin to really resist.

Trump should push back on the feckless VP’s lies- and also campaign on the fact that pence hasn’t any integrity because he chose to lie about what Trump said, and if he can’t be trusted to tell the truth about Trump- then he can’t be trusted to lead this nation back to greatness either because it proves pence is in league with hte lying left-
