Yes, it’s as simple as that. The idiots in government were swayed by the know-nothing greens that we could overnight transform an energy infrastructure that took 150 years to build and optimize to deliver cheap, reliable and clean energy.

I worked in the power industry for 35 years starting 1973. We prided ourselves on building huge, highly efficient, reliable power plants that delivered economical electricity. You cannot say “Whoops, we chose the wrong power sources. Let’s change to wind, solar and batteries.” and make the change overnight.

We are “governed” by incredibly stupid people, here and in the EU. I mean, really stupid, low-IQ people.
